Chapter 9✨

Maria's P.O.V
I've tried calling Ace like a million times and he isn't answering.

Since he confessed that he's a drug lord he's been out more and he will go days without having called or texted me. Then he'd come back apologising or he acts like everything never happened. I've had enough of this.

The door opened and in came a weird looking Rico. I can't explain it but he looked sad and scared at the same time. And he looked like he's been crying

"Rico, what's wrong?"
"Please maria, just give me a minute. Can you just make me hold you for a few minutes?" I looked at him crazy

What the hell is going on?

"Please?" He said.

I nodded and he came into the bed and wrapped his arms around me and held me. I had my head against his chest. He started sniffing and I felt a tear in my hair.

"Rico please tell me what's wrong..you never cry. Like ever. What's happened?" I said

"S-she's dead maria she didn't make it"

My heart dropped and I started breathing fast. You could hear the heart thingy beeping faster.

"Please tell me you aren't speaking about Mira rico"
"I'm sorry maria"
I got off his chest and looked at him.

"When?"
"At 7:23 she was announced deceased"
"Take me to see her rico"
"Maria you can't you're ill I can't do that ma"
"RICO FUCKING TAKE ME TO SEE MY BEST FRIEND NOW!"
He sighed and got up, took his blazer and put it over me. He picked me up and walked out the hospital room down to the other side of the hospital.

He stopped infront of a door and stood there.
"Put me down please" he placed me on the floor and stayed in the position.

"Is she that bad?" He nodded with tears in his eyes.

I took a deep breath and walked into the room. I looked on the bed and saw her sitting there so still. Her normal brown skin that use to glow so brightly was pale. Her hands was crosses and you could see her ring glisten in the light of the room. She didn't have that glow anymore. She looked dead.

"Samira please you can't leave me like this. You told me that we would die together come on. You can't do this. I need you im sorry for leaving. I really am. Mira please" I just became weak and almost fell to the floor, but rico caught me.

"Rico she can't leave me. She can't do this. She was my only sister now she's gone"
My eyesite was clouded with my tears. All I remember was rico rocking me back and forth hushing me.

Ace's P.O.V

"You can't just abandon us like this A! You told me you loved me what the hell changed. You was the one who told me to stay in Atlanta with our son you did tha-"

I had to interrupt this bitch she's talking too much shit.

"Kim, you know that,that little boy ain't mine. I know too. You I love my girl. I told you not to come here because you're not ready to come back to Harlem. You're crazy. You killed so much of my workers for bullshit you fucked up my rep. You try pin a kid on me that ain't mine"

See Kimberly was my girl for 3 years actually. She left her twin to come live with me in the A and she ended up preggo. I found out the kid ain't mine and I left with my lil sis. Her ass is messy asf im dead ass. She told me she shot up a wedding and shot the bride a few hours ago. That's some shit man

My phone vibrated
Damn another call from Maria. I'm gonna get it when I get home.

"You're dirty and grimey. I'm done with your ass but watch your back A trust me I'll ruin your life"

With that she walked out, damn today is a fucked up day
