"It's always you who gets hurt..." I hear a faint voice say as if choking on the words

'Shinsou?'

I open my eyes, the light was blinding for a minute before I see Shinsou. His eyes were closed and he was crying quietly I place a hand on his cheek softly and smile even though I felt like I was dying of pain (A slight exaggeration >:) I am the Torturing Author) "Hey... there, there... No need to cry" I say, my voice having that lower sounding voice you have when you first wake up from a good long night of sleep (you know what I'm talking about- right?) "How old are you again?" I ask and watch his hesitation. "18, I should be graduating U.A in a few weeks..." His eyes search my face for something and he looks satisfied after a moment and I blink not believing him. "Only 18?" I ask in shock and Shinsou nods "Your way to young to look that defeated" I saw him freeze. 'Did I hit a nerve? I hope I didn't make him mad...' "oh really" I hear him answer in that usual flat emotionless voice that I haven't hear him use in a long time. My smile falters and he seems to notice instantly "It's nothing, how's the pain?" He asks and watches my face as I feel surprise hit me like a train "I didn't know you were so good at reading people" I answer dodging the question. Shinsou shook his head "I'm not good at reading people, just you" I tilt my head,

"Even after all this time?"

"Especially after all this time" he paused "So I assume you are in pain from your response?" He asked and I nod seeing no point in hiding it from him anymore. "Do they have you on medications?"

"Yeah"

"Can I ask a question?"

"I have one to ask after you if that's also alright"

"Okay, well- What happened?"

"Wha-"

"You know what I mean!" He snapped and I flinched he doesn't usually snap at me. 'Did I make him mad? p-please don't hurt me!' I think fearfully and jump a little "I made someone mad and go really badly burned!" I exclaimed quickly in fear. 'Of Shinsou...? Or just his anger...?' I wondered to myself

"Who"

"huh-" I was so confused

"Names" he said sternly and seemed to see the fear in my eyes 'Fuck' I thought to myself he looked like shit but still looked nice to me. His expression and voice was terrifying though. I just now realized I was shivering- and I wasn't cold.

"Todoroki" I said quickly looking terrified and I watched him nod a small smile forming on his lips. To say he was pissed would be...

A understatement

He stormed out of the room "no- wait!" I tried to get up and stop him but collapsed onto the floor only seconds after getting off of the bed and set off all kinds of monitors in no time a nurse came in and helped him on to the bed and gave me some more medications and once again I was out like a light.

When I woke up I was shocked to see midoriya sitting there alone. "Midoriya" I said suddenly and watched him jump in surprise, fall out of his chair and hit his head on the bed on the way down. I chuckled at his unease the sound was gruff and had that 'I just woke up' sound "SWEET MOTHER OF CHEEZ ITZ!!" He exclaimed in shock and rubbed the back of his head "good morning" I said with a soft smile my good mood returning but Midoriya didn't return it "What's wrong?"
"Todoroki"
"What about em?"
"Got beat up"
"By who? I thought that guy was un-beatable."
"Obviously not."
"Tell me who beat him~!" I begged
"Fine- your not gonna like it. Shinsou."
"-hold up. M- Shinsou" I stopped myself from accidentally saying 'My shinsou' "beat Todoroki up?"
Midoriya nodded "What happened to him after?"
"Well... we um... put some sleep medicine in his coffee to try and contain him but he drank it... and just took off."
"- YOU Did whAT??" My voice cracked but I didn't care
"Um... drugged Shinsou... and then...."
"Then what? What happened??"
Midoriya was trying to dodge the question. Todoroki walked in and casually spoke for midoriya "We lost him" I flipped my lid
"HOW DO YOU LOSE HIM?!!"
"He wouldn't listen to us" todoroki said calmly
"You DRUGGED his drink."
"Yeah, and?"
"And then LOST HIM!??!"
"yup. That's how it went"
"Why I oughta!!"
"Oughta what? Hm?"
"I oughta beat yo ass." I snapped at him. None of us were in a good mood anymore.
"Why are you two even here?"
Midoriya looked at me in shock "What do you mean we are here because we care!"
"Well stop! I killed our friend you guys need to understand that. I am a murderer and you Shouldn't care."
