I jolted awake from loud a noise and ended up on the floor with a loud thud. Sideswipe chuckled and helped me up. "God... my back," I muttered as I got up. Sideswipe was amused with me while he got up and stretched himself a bit. He didn't seem he slept at all. I followed his gaze, facing a different officer. "Gonne get us out of here or what?" Sideswipe asked, slightly annoyed. "Someone's here for you," he said, gesturing at Ironhide and he wasn't pleased with all. Sideswipe and I exchanged a look shortly.

To make my starting day even worse, my uncle walked in as well also not pleased. "Are you mad at me?" I asked sheepishly. My uncle glared at me, it tells me enough but he replied anyway. "You have no idea! I am very disapointed... that also counts for you Sideswipe!" My uncle snapped. Sideswipe simply rolled his eyes. "Calm down, human... I don't really care if you're disapointed in me or not, in the end, you need me in this stupid war," Sideswipe coldly said.

"Sideswipe!" Ironhide spat warningly. "Oh come on, oldtimer... you're all pretending like you're still my mentor, but you're not," Sideswipe argued while crossing his arms. "Watch your damn words!" Ironhide snarled. "Or what? Should I cry now?" He mocked, glaring at Ironhide. The weapons specialist pinched the bridge of his nose and said nothing for a good moment. "You left the freaking base without permission or told anyone where you're going and to make things even worse, you weren't even allowed to leave!" Ironhide, spat, slamming his fists against the metal bars. Sideswipe looked at his nails and shrugged his shoulders.

"I can do whatever I want... it's not a prison... it's just a place where I need to train, recharge and drink Energon, but besides all that, there's nothing to do and I am bored. All those stupid rules... my life is already ruined with this fucking war so let me have some fun outside the base, but you keep forbid me everything like I am your son! Well, guess what Ironhide! I am not your child and I will never be your child either! If you forbid me things to do... then it's not a wonder I am doing them in secret... she understands... she hates authority just as much as I do," he snapped while approaching the bars and pointed at me.

I grabbed Sideswipe's arm "Please, Sides... you make things worse," I whispered, pulling him back. Sideswipe shot me a glare as well but said nothing. "I can leave you here!" Lennox threatened. Sideswipe simply shrugged his shoulders "Do think I give a fuck about that? I am not gonna cry cuz you leave me here. I am glad if I can stay in here so I don't have to listen to all the shit you're talking!" Sideswipe snapped angrily.

Something told me the three had fallen in an argument about this before and it ticked Sideswipe off again. My uncle turned towards me "I told you to stay in the barn and I got a call from Sarah that you had left! Without telling anyone!" My uncle snapped. "I fed the animals and I wanted to go into town and see Washington for myself. I found Sideswipe by accident, but I am glad I did..." I said, shrugging my shoulder. "You two are a horrible combination!" Ironhide snapped, glaring at both of us. "Why? Because she's a female version of me?" Sideswipe mocked challengingly. "Well guess what, I am not gonna stop seeing her now I know about here and for Primus sake... I can't believe you kept that a secret as well! You know I was looking for a friend!" Sideswipe snarled.

Again? What did Sideswipe mean with 'again'. I frowned a bit but remained silent. "You both are grounded at the base," Lennox said. "Like I wasn't already grounded at that stupid base!" Sideswipe sneered before turning away. "I wanna stay here, where I am free of both of you!" Sideswipe grumbled annoyed. "Would you still like it if we take, Skylar?" Lennox challenged. Sideswipe ignored, a true teen and a very stubborn one. I know understood what Ironhide meant. I was worse, but Sideswipe was next level. I chuckled a bit and strolled over to Sideswipe. I grabbed the color of his shirt and made him bend over a bit since he was a head taller and I didn't want Ironhide or Lennox to hear what I was saying to him.
