For a very long time, I kept staring at the window, seeing the sky turning darker with the minute. Soon it would be night and I had to go to sleep but I somehow couldn't get myself in a state of relaxation. I kept thinking about what happened earlier today, the force Dreadbolt used to knock Sunstreaker's out, for no reason. Sunstreaker didn't even see it coming.

I slid off my bed, grabbing my shoes and started walking towards the Autobot hanger. Sunstreaker was parked next to his twin, but I doubted he was asleep. I leaned against a pillar, watching them for a moment. I felt safer around them, then being on my own right now. Dreadbolt can easily hurt or even kill me when I am asleep.

I walked down and opened Sunstreaker's passenger side, hopping in. "What do you want?" he grunted as I closed the door. "Couldn't sleep," I replied. 'So you come here to bother me all night?" he asked. "Are you okay?" I asked, ignoring his previous comment. "I am fine... now leave me alone," he snapped. "What did Dreadbolt do to you the day you wanted to kill him?" I asked. Sunstreaker groaned "I hope this is not an interrogation!"

"I saw and heard everything that happened," I said. "Look, Sunny... we all want him gone, right? So why don't you help me?" I asked. "First of all, don't call me Sunny and second of all... what are you talking about?" he snapped. "I think your father is hiding something, we have to figure out what it is," I said. "do you think this is a game, Skylar? He's here because he somehow survived the damn war! He's here to hurt us! Don't play detective now!" he snapped. I shook my head and crossed my arms.

"I have better things to do, anyway!" he snarled. "Like what?" I huffed. He didn't answer me. "Why can't you just help me for once in your life? Why are you always so complicated? Can't you just trust me in this?" I asked. "No! It's not a game!" he grunted. "I don't see it as a game either! You have to believe me, Sunstreaker," I said. "Sunstreaker! You know something, what are you hiding?" I asked. He didn't talk to me, he was ignoring me completely. "Sunstreaker!" I kicked his dash.

He angrily hissed "stop kicking me, human!" he snapped. "Then stop ignoring me and answer me!" I snapped back. "Oh for primus sake, femme! What do you want me to say! I told you he's here to hurt me... to hurt us!" He hissed. I crossed my arms again, staring out of the window. "You are good at many things... lying isn't one of them!" I snapped, hopping out, and walked off.

"Skylar wait!"

I halted and turned around, facing Sunstreaker's holoform. "There are things... I don't want to share, for personal reasons... if I could, I would tell you," he said. I cocked my head to the side, not believing what he was just saying. "Can you trust me?" he asked. I crossed my arms and looked away, but gave a brief nod. "If you don't feel safe in your room... I can stay if you want that," he said after a silence. "You would do that for a human?" I mocked. Sunstreaker shrugged his shoulders "You want me to stay or not?" he snapped.

I nodded slightly. "Move!" Sunstreaker pushed me forward, and followed me slowly, back to my room. He opened the door of my room and let me before he followed he looked around the hallway. "What is it?" I asked. He shook his head and locked the door. "I'll just sit here while you sleep," he said, flopping on the small sofa.

I crawled in bed, turning on my side to face him. "what?" he snapped, fiddling with his knife. "Nothing," I muttered. "Secretly you're happy you can be here with me," I said, smirking a bit. "I am never happy to hang around humans!" he grunted, not even looking at me. "Don't do that..."

"Do what?" he muttered. "Pushing me away... you know that even if we have an argument I wouldn't hurt you in any possible way," I said. Sunstreaker stopped with fiddling to look at me. "Don't tell me you see me as a friend because you don't!" he mocked.

"That's what you think because no one is nice to you, but maybe if you're not an asshole all the time you can see not all people are bad," I sharply commented. Sunstreaker shot me a glare "Prove me wrong... even if I am not even trying to argue with you, you make a comment that pisses me off... I am not gonna lie, you are a jerk but I also know you have goodness in you," I said.
