People were worried because Sunstreaker is missing for almost a week now. We have no communication, no location, just nothing. Sideswipe was bothering Optimus all the time, trying to find out where his brother is and blamed himself for everything. I started to feel bad, I am avoiding him while I should actually support him. Sideswipe had always supported me when I needed him and now, I am not there for him when he needs me.
it's 8 in the morning and I had slept horrible because I kept thinking about the twins. By now, I had decided to visit Sideswipe in the Autobot hanger and try to hear him out or try to be there for him. Also, I wanted to apologize for not supporting him. Hopefully he's not angry with me. He probably is though... he's avoiding me too.
I slowly walked off the stairs, walking over to the mech. He was parked in the corner of the hanger. "Sideswipe?" I asked, halting right in front of him. He didn't reply, but I also knew he's not in recharge either. I crouched down next to his hood. "I am sorry... I know I should support you..." I said. He was still not responding "About what you asked me a week ago... I can not tell you because Sunstreaker has done something he regrets... and he didn't want to tell you because he's scared you will reject him and tell him how horrible he is. He's also scared Prime will send him away from earth..." I said. "I don't want to be the person to tell you the truth about that night back on Cybertron. I hated it to keep it a secret and lie about it... and you have no idea how many times Sunstreaker and I discussed it... we have had so many fights and I swear if I say he was going to tell you. He didn't like it either," I said.
"I am sorry for being a horrible friend... It's hard because I want to be loyal to you, but I also want to be loyal to Sunstreaker," I said before getting up. "That's all I wanted to say..." I grumbled, walking off. "Skylar?"
I halted and turned around, watching Sideswipe's holoform fizzle in. He strode over to me and pulled me in a hug. "I am sorry... I know you want to be loyal to both of us. We pulled you into our problems and we forced you to choose a side. That's not what we wanted... When Sunstreaker gets back, we need to talk. I mean, we can't keep doing this... a bond started to form between us. There shouldn't be secrets between us..." he said. I gulped, I hadn't even told him my secret yet. "Also, there was something else I wanted to ask you..." he said.
"I heard your mother was at the base last week... what was it she wanted?" he asked. "She tried to apologize," I sighed. "Why? I thought she was clear she didn't want you back," he said. "I know... it was a surprise for me too..." I sulked. "Sunstreaker briefly told me you were upset but he didn't give me details," he said. "I didn't give him details either... I hate her and I don't want to talk to her anymore. She confirmed my 'dad' isn't my real dad. She has been denying that for a very long time and suddenly, she comes to me, telling me the truth!" I spat out. Sideswipe wrapped his arm around my shoulders, pressing a kiss on the side of my head. "Did she tell you who your real father is?" she asked. "A cybertronian for sure... but no, she didn't give me a name," I lied. He hummed and pressed another kiss on my head.
"I am really sorry, Sideswipe! You are my best friend!" I said. "You're my best friend too... and favorite human," he said, winking at me. I hugged his holoform again. "So, why were you so upset with my brother?" he asked. "He kissed me and that ass left immediately after!" I scowled. I heard Sideswipe chuckle before he pinned me to his alt-mode. I yelped, looking at him. "What are you doing! It's not funny he left... I was seriously--" I was cut off when he pressed his warm lips on mine. It's a very gentle kiss. "I am not going anywhere," he mumbled as he pulled back a little. His lips ghosted over mine and his hot breath fanned down my face.
I connected my lips with his again, deepening the kiss a little. I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him as close as possible. A smirk curled on his lips as I pulled back. "You have no choice and despite our differences... we can make this work, right?" he asked. I was about to answer as a very familiar voice spoke up. "And you rejected me!"
Sideswipe and I turned in surprise and shock. "Sunstreaker!" Sideswipe exclaimed, he was about to walk over to his twin but Sunstreaker raised his hands, glaring at us. "You could you!" Sunstreaker spat, obviously hurt. "Sunny..." " Do not call me that! You have no right to call me that!" he shouted before he turned around and stormed off. I ran after his holoform "Sunstreaker! Stop... please, stop!" I said, tugging at his arm. "Sunstreaker wait... please,"
Sunstreaker hit me and shove me on the floor. I groaned, looking up to him. "You are the biggest bitch in the whole world! You broke my spark! I tried to talk to you... I tried to convince you... I know why you don't want it... I am a monster right?" he screamed. I got up and grabbed his arms, "Stop... please, hear me out before you think the wrong thing," I whispered. He huffed "Where have you been? Everyone was worried about you!" I said. "it's not any of your damn business!" I he sneered, pushing me away. "Sunstreaker! Please... talk to me," I snapped back, blocking his way. "What do you want me to say?" he sneered. "I know you feel betrayed... but please... calm down, okay?"
He gritted his teeth while he made fists of his hands. "Why did you reject me?" he asked, sounding pretty angry. "Come with me... please," I said. He snorted and followed me. I reached my room and typed the code, letting him in. "Where have you been, Sunny?" I asked, softly closing the door behind me. "It's not any of your damn business!" he sneered. I walked up to him, taking his hands. Surprisingly enough, his hands are cold. Very cold to be honest. "You are cold..." I said. He pulled his hands back "Are going to tell me why you broke my spark or what!" he sneered, glaring at me.
"I haven't talked to Sideswipe for a week... I just made it up to him," I said. "So, should that explain why you were making out with him!" he sneered, pushing me. "You have kissed me too, and you left..." I said. "Ugh! You better don't bring that up!" he spat, slamming his hand on the table. "Look, Sunny... I am not going to lie to you. When we talked last week... I wasn't sure, because well, you are an alien... I am human and you are Cybertronian..." I said. "I told you before that it shouldn't be a problem! I have my holoform! This is created to be around humans, to blend in society!" he blurted out. "I know... I know... I have also talked to Ratchet. You were right..." I said. "Of course I was right! Do you really think I tried to set you up!" he spat out. "No... or course not,"
"I need some time... just leave me around!" he sulked, leaving and slammed the door closed.
