I watched Sunstreaker rear lights disappear as he sped off with a ridiculously fast speed. "Cowered!" I screamed after him, angry I stormed back inside. Slamming the door closed. My aunt walked up to me "what happened?" She asked. "That stupid idiot!" I spat, storming upstairs. I slammed the door closed, pacing around. I couldn't believe what he just did, the idiot.
With a groan I let myself fall on my bed, staring at the ceiling. What game is playing? Why is he messing with me? It's not funny and I am so done with him right now. I just forgave him and he had to ruin it.
"Skylar? Honey?" my aunt asked, knocking on the door. "Yes?" I asked, sighing. She walked in and softly closed the door behind her. "I hate him..." I sulked. "What happened?" she asked as she sat down next to me on my bed. "He came to talk to me, asking me if he could forgive me... and I heard him out. I forgave him and then he started to confuse me, he wanted to leave without giving me clarity. I became angry again, I mean... he didn't want to be clear. The next moment he kisses me and just left... speeding down the road as if there's an ambush! He runs off with his tail between his legs! Cowered!" I spat before getting up.
My aunt hummed softly "Why don't you call him?" she asked. "Why would I? He's just messing around and I don't want to see him anymore! He ruined it, Sarah... stupid mech!" I scowled. "I think he panicked, I don't think he wanted to tell you here and now..." she said. I huffed, getting up "He's an alien... it will never work out anyway... besides that... he's a selfish brat... a serial killer for god sake... do you know how many people he has killed?! He's on our side... he's not supposed to kill humans, he's supposed to keep us safe..." I sulked.
"People can change, and he changed... he's not killing anymore and he is aware that what he did is wrong," Sarah said. "Why can't he just leave me alone..." I groused. "He is not a bad person... call him!" she said, shoving my phone closer towards me. "I am not going to do that..." I muttered. "Screw him..." I growled. My aunt sighed before she got up. "Don't forget that he's not good with showing his emotions..." she remained me before she left, closing the door softly behind her.
after two days, I still hadn't talked to Sunstreaker nor to Sideswipe. Even Sideswipe had called me, I didn't want to hear him out. I stared in the mirror, I promised to go back after a couple of days, but I didn't want to go back if I am honest. I didn't want to face that cowered.
I headed down, walking into the living room. I halted, staring at Sideswipe had been talking to my aunt. "Skylar..." Sideswipe greeted a little bit nervous. "I am going back to base," I snapped. He walked up to me, grabbing my arm, and dragged me outside. "Listen... I know what he did. You need to talk to him!" he stated. "I am not going to do anything!" I snapped. "Why not?" he blurted out. "He is a cowered!" I groused angrily. "So, you're going to ignore him from now on?" he asked. "Perhaps, yes!" I snapped. Sideswipe shook his head "No! you will come back to base today and talk to him!" he said, pulling me forcefully to his alt-mode.
"I am not going anywhere!" I spat, pulling my arm free. "Please... do it for me... come on, please, we need to talk to you!" he said. "Just say what you want to say and leave!" I snarled. "No! I need you to come back to the base!" He snapped. I sighed, looking away from him. "Please?"
I knew he was going to bother me the entire week or month if I say 'no' right now. "Fine..." I grumbled. "Give me a second!" I snapped, walking back to the house.
My aunt looked up as I walked. "Sideswipe keeps bothering me, so, I have to go with him back to base, otherwise he's not going to stop," I muttered. My aunt embraced me "Just hear them out, okay?" she asked. I nodded before I freed myself and left. Sideswipe's holoform, leaned against his alt-mode, fiddling with his hands. Like he was nervous or something.
As he noticed me, he hopped in his alt-mode without saying anything. The entire ride, we said nothing, which is very odd. Normally we talk about everything that pops up in our minds. Even when I drove him back to base, we talked endlessly about kind of everything. This time, there's a huge tension between us. Sideswipekept clawing at his steering wheel and biting his bottom lips.
When we arrived, I hopped out. "Skylar?" He asked, approaching me slowly. "Thanks... for coming back," he said. "Yeah yeah... I am going to have a word with my uncle," I grumbled, leaving. "Can you meet us? In the meeting room? After you're done?" He asked. "Whatever," I sulked, walking off. I knocked on the door of my uncle's office before walking in. Surprised he looked up. "Skylar... you're back," he said.
"Yeah, Sideswipe kept bothering me," I muttered. "I was curious about something... have you encountered strange behavior? I am talking about Sunstreaker," I said. "To be honest... for the first time in my life I believe I saw panic and fear," he said. "What did he do?" he questioned. I sucked in a breath, apparently, my aunt hadn't told him about what Sunny did and said. "He kissed me and left when he pulled back... I got mad... again," I groaned. My uncle's eyes widened in shock.
"Just curious... now you know why he had panic in his optics... idiot," I scowled, turning around and left. I walked with heavy feet towards the meeting room and walked in. Sunstreaker got up and the first thing I did was hitting his cheek. "I deserved that..." He muttered. "Stupid cowered!" I snarled. Sunstreaker was alone, I presumed his brother could come in any moment. "I am sorry... for what I did and said... it wasn't my intention... look I haven't told anyone about the kiss..." he said. "I did... my aunt and uncle!" I snapped. Sunstreaker rubbed his face "Stupid cowered! Who do you think you are! A god!" I spat out. "I am sorry, okay?"
"How many times are going to say that, Sunstreaker? You're are very good and ruining things!" I snarled. "Look... I am sorry, I don't know why I did it, okay?" he asked. "I think I panicked because...I--" Sunstreaker cut himself off. "I know my brother has feelings for you and it affects me... I don't know how much you know--"
"I think I know enough... you're an alien and it will never work out, okay?" I snapped. Sunstreaker grabbed my arm painfully hard. "Don't leave!" he snapped, yanking me back. "Just hear me out!" He snapped. "It's not that easy as you think it is..." he said. "Oh, really? I think it is... I reject you and you need to live with that! Besides that... we are in the middle of the war and--"
"We started to bond!"
I froze and stared at him. "It's something very complicated... but sometimes it happens that when a mech or femme stays close to another mech or femme, they start to bond. It's something I can't really explain... but this bond will only grow stronger and stronger... it's going to cause you pain... your spark... or in human terms your heart will ache... there's nothing you can do about it... and I already have pain in my spark when you are not around," he said.
"So, now you are telling me I am stuck with you forever?" I snapped. "It started with Sideswipe because you two are so close and Sideswipe secretly fell in love with you! He never uttered a word about it, so don't call me cowered, he never said anything. It also affected me... you start to bond with us... I never thought it was possible to bond with a human though..."
I huffed, shaking my head "Bullshit!" I snarled, turning around. "it's not! go ask Ratchet if you don't believe me!" he shouted after me. "I will!" I spat back before I pushed Sideswipe out of the way. He just wanted to enter the meeting room, but I am done with them already.
