I groaned as I woke up, having a nasty headache. I touched my head, feeling a warm substance. Motormaster hadn't been careful with me when he threw me in this cell. I turned as I heard a movement behind me. My breathing was uneven as I faced Sideswipe. He was in an even worse condition than I thought. Energon was dripping down his cheek plate from his damaged eyes. I doubted he could see with his optics, his frame was dented and covered in cuts. "Sideswipe?"

"Skylar?"

He sounded surprised yet concerned. "Oh, Sides... what have they done!" I whispered as I sprinted over to him. "I can't see you... I am blind," he sounded a little bit anxious. "Uhm, your optics... they're damaged badly..." I said before touching his leg. "I am right here..." I said. "How did you get here?" he asked. "Sunstreaker..." I replied. "Oh thank Primus he's here..." Sideswipe whispered, leaning his helm back against the wall.

"So... it's a surprise attack?" he asked. "not exactly... Sunstreaker and I tried to climb over the hill, but it was slippery and he collapsed, hitting his helm hard against a rock... it knocked him out and I fear he's in a stasis lock... his systems are freezing," I said. Sideswipe was quiet "So... it's you and me that have to escape and find Sunstreaker who's probably covered in snow by now. "I can't see... I am blind, Skylar... Ratchet isn't here to fix my optics... how do you expect me to fight or to find my brother?" he asked.

"I can help you... I can be your eyes," I said. "What do they want from you?" I asked. "Motormaster wants revenge... for what my brother did to him and Starscream... I am not sure, he doesn't really show himself, he only told Motormaster to keep me alive," Sideswipe said. I shook my head "I will help you, okay?" I asked. "There's something else, Skylar..." he said. "what?" I asked. "I heard them talking... about some sort of Virus they want to spread, I don't know, they cut off their conversation like they remembered I was here as well, they are up to something, they are looking for something or they have someone who does it for them. They stick to the shadows and they will mobilize when they get what they want... I am just not sure what that is," Sideswipe said.

"Okay, okay... we will talk to Prime about as soon as we get out of here, alright?" I asked. "Alright... we need to find my brother," Sideswipe muttered. "yes, can you feel him?" I asked. "Only weekly," was Sideswipe's reply. "When did you lose your sight?" I asked. "A few hours after I got here, they didn't want me to escape and Motormaster thought it would be funny..." he sulked. "Must hurt a lot... bring your servo to my voice and lift me so I can have a look at the damage," I said.

I had to jump out of the way when Sideswipe lowered his servo. "Easy..." I whined. "Sorry."

I climbed in his servo to have a look at his optics. "They're damaged pretty badly... but Ratchet will fix it," I said. Sideswipe sighed "How are we going to escape?" he asked quietly. I turned in his servo, looking around. "Hmm... I don't know how to escape from here... maybe we can lure Starscream..." I said. Sideswipe huffed "I haven't seen him since I got here..." he muttered. "You're so positive... I am trying to get us out of here, Sides," I said, looking around.

"I am blind, Skylar... how do you expect me to fight?" he asked. "I am your eyes, but we aren't going to fight..." I said. "How?" he asked. "Starscream will not show himself..." Sideswipe added. I looked at the space behind the bars. "I have an idea... but I need you to trust me... we need to have codes, so you know what I mean and what I want you to do... you have to trust me blindly," I said. "Are we funny?" he asked. "Can you trust me?" I asked. "Yeah..." he sighed. "Come on, Sides... I need you to trust me, we need to find your twin..." I said. "I know... I just want to leave this place alive," Sideswipe whispered. "Let me check my phone, I called my uncle before I went into this cave," I said. "You're really insane you know..."

"why?" I asked, unlocking my phone, searching for some service. "You traveled all the way towards Wyoming, with my brother, without back-up... in a blizzard, you almost froze to death... now you're stuck here in a cell with me and there's no one that can help us..." he said. "I thought you said you could trust me..." I said. "I have the right to be a little bit nervous... I mean you're not the one that's blind," he snapped. "I need you to trust me... okay? I promise we will make it alive..." I said.
