When I woke up, Sideswipe out for a patrol, Sunstreaker was still next to me, staring at the ceiling. "What's wrong?" I asked, rolling towards him to rest my head on his shoulder. "Nothing..." he sighed, wrapping his arm around me. "Since I told you about my secret... it feels like there's a distance between us... I told you I love you and if it's still bothering you--" he cut me off with a soft kiss. "It's not about that, Skylar... I told you I forgave you," he said a bit grumpy. "Did I do or say something wrong? I just don't get it why you're so... closed," I said.

"It's nothing... really it's nothing," he said, smiling a little while brushing some hair from my face. "If you say so..." I mumbled, laying back down. "You know I love you, right?" he asked.

"I know you do..." I said, kissing his lips softly. "How can you love me? Knowing what I have done?" he asked. "Don't say bond, because that only starts to form if two persons have feelings for one another..." he sulked. "I have always had a crush on Sideswipe... I think it started with him and I know we didn't had a great start... but you told me yourself, you couldn't kill me. I think you had feelings for me since the beginning," I said, drawing some circles on his toned chest.

Sunstreaker snorted "That's bullshit..." he sulked. "The fact is... we have a bond now and you haven't killed me yet, even though I worked on your nerves most of the time," I said. "You're right about that... I couldn't kill you... and I still can't. Even I want to snap your neck sometimes," he muttered. I hummed "Sideswipe had already started to fall in love with you... it affected me and I fell in love too," Sunstreaker added quietly. "I am glad I told you my secret... I hated it to keep it a secret..." I said. He didn't respond to that and avoided my eyes.

I slid out of bed "Where are you going?" he asked. "Taking a shower..." I said, grabbing some clothes from my cabinet. "Skylar?" he asked. I hummed, looking at him "Are you okay?" he asked. "Yeah... I am fine," I said, walking towards the bathroom and closing the door behind me.

I felt sad, for some reason it felt like he was rejecting me. Every time I started about me being a hybrid, he would react oddly and closed. I undressed and turned on the shower. When it had the right temperature I hopped in, washing my face and tearing off my face. Sideswipe didn't have problems with hit and thought it was cool of me being immortal and a hybrid. I closed my eyes for a moment, what on earth did I start? Maybe I made a mistake, maybe I never should have left the barn of my uncle the two days after I arrived. If I never left the barn, none of this would have happened...

I jumped a little as I felt someone wrap his arms around my waist. "I already thought you were crying," Sunny mumbled near my ear as he tightened his grip on me and left some kisses on my shoulder. "Tell me..." he whispered, kissing my neck softly. "It feels like you are rejecting me because I am a hybrid... I thought you would be happy to hear I am not fully human... that I live longer and don't grow older, that I have better senses... I don't want you to reject me too. My parents have done that all my life... why does Sideswipe not hate me and you do?" I asked.

"Sweetspark... do you really think I hate you because you're a hybrid?" he asked. "I love you... I just told you that..." he said. "Then why can't you look in my eyes if I talk about it? Why do you change the subject or do you leave suddenly?" I asked.

"I love you more than anything else in the entire universe and so does my brother. We both love you... please don't doubt our loyalty!" he said. "I will be at your side no matter what..." he stated.  "Don't cry... it's not making you beautiful," he said a bit teasingly before nuzzling in my neck.

After our shower, we dressed up and left my room to get some food. "Hey, Suns... when is Sides coming back?" I asked. "He left early this morning, I expect him any moment."

The front liner wrapped his arm around my shoulder and pressed a kiss on my head. "I see you in a second... I'll be right back, okay?" he asked. I nodded and pressed a kiss on his lips. "I love you," I mumbled against his lips. "I love you too..." he whispered back before he freed himself and walked off.

When I was almost done with my breakfast, Sideswipe joined me and sat down next to me. "morning!" he teased, kissing me. "Hi, Sides... How was your patrol?" I asked. " Boring!" he grunted with a roll of his eyes. "Where is our sociopath Sunflower?" he asked, looking around. "He said he had something to do... he left," I replied. "Strange..." Sideswipe said but shrugged it off. When I finished my breakfast, Sunstreaker's holoform walked in and sat down in front of us. "Hey, Sunny... where were you?" Sideswipe asked, cocking his head to the side. "I had something to discuss with Ratchet..." he muttered without looking at us. "Are you alright?" Sideswipe asked worriedly. "I am fine!" Sunstreaker snarled as he jumped back on his feet. "Ugh! Leave me alone!" he spat out before leaving.

"What is wrong with him?" Sideswipe asked, pointing into the direction his brother just left. "I don't know, Sides... He is moody for some reason," I replied, shrugging my shoulders. "I will talk to him... and see if he wants to go out for a drive..." I said, kissing his lips one more time before leaving. I found Sunstreaker in an empty hanger, pacing around his alt-mode and deep in thoughts. Slowly I walked off the stairs and halted a few yards away from him.

Sunstreaker halted when he noticed me and walked up to me, hugging me tightly. "Hey... what's wrong?" I asked, trying to breath. "I love you... please remember that," he whispered near my ear  before he stuck something in my back. I hissed and tried to free myself, but he kept holding me. "Sunny..." I whimpered, stepping back when he let go. I gazed at the needle in his hand "What did you do?" I asked, starting to feel weak. Sunstreaker caught me before I was able to hit the floor and hold me in his arms. "I am sorry..." he whispered. The last thing I knew was Sunstreaker kissing me before the darkness surrounded me.
