I wasn't sure what to do with myself. All morning I had been wandering around the base, stressing out about what I should do. I was still avoiding them, even more then before. It didn't help the feeling I had, I am not even sure what I wanted.
I turned around the corner and bumped into Sunstreaker. 'great' I thought as I stepped back. "Skylar... what have you been doing?" he asked, ignoring what happened. I snorted and tried to pass him but he blocked my way. "Don't walk away... okay? The kiss didn't mean anything! I was just stressed!" he said, tightened his grip on me. "You are hurting me!" I snapped. "Then stop ignoring me!" he snapped.
I pulled my arm back, glaring at him. "That kiss meant noting for me! Nothing!" he snarled. "Then why did you do it!" I spat. "I regret I did!" he snapped. I huffed "So, this is how it is between us?" he snapped. "Maybe it is better if keep distance..." I said. Sunstreaker huffed in annoyance. "Why? Because I made one mistake?" he spat out. "Yes!" I snarled. "Why are you even so upset about it!? I don't see the damn problem!" he snarled.
"Just leave me alone, Sunstreaker," I snarled. "It's not fair, Skylar!" he hissed, giving me a glare. "You don't even give me a chance!" he spat out. I pushed him away and stormed off. Sunstreaker marched after me and pushed me against the wall, his arm on my throat. "You don't push me!" he snapped. "What are you trying to reach?" I snapped. "I need an answer... why are you acting like this? I told you... that stupid kiss meant nothing!" he snapped.
I snorted, looking away. "Or did it mean something for you?" he asked. "Sunstreaker... what is your point?" I whispered. "I just try to figure out what you're thinking...after what I told you," he said. "I don't believe a shit of what you told me!" I snapped. He covered my mouth "Keep thinking that... but it's true... go ask Ratchet if you don't believe!" he snapped. "That kiss definitely meant something for you... otherwise you don't act like this," I snapped. "Maybe it did, maybe not... that's for me to know and for you to find out," he said.
"can't we just be honest?" he asked. "Alright... I was mad... you left me standing there!" I snapped. "I am sorry..." he said. "Cowered!" I snarled. He covered my mouth again "I am not a cowered!" he snapped. I bit his hand "Hey!" he snapped. "Stop covering my mouth and let me go!" I snapped. "Skylar! Come on! talk to me!" he exclaimed as I walked off. "There's nothing to talk about, Sunstreaker! I am done with you!" I shouted over my shoulder.
"Screw you!" he shouted back before he stormed off in the opposite direction. "idiot!" I scowled, marching over to the main hanger. "Skylar?"
I sucked in a breath while turning around, facing Epps, a very close friend of my uncle. Before he joined N.E.S.T he served in the united stated Air Force. "Your uncle isn't here right now... so, I am in charge," he said, pointing at himself. "Alright... so, what did I do wrong... chief?" I scoffed. He rolled his eyes "Are you in period?" he asked. Now it was my time to roll my eyes "No, but I have to deal with two annoying mechs... one yellow in specific," I growled, glaring at the yellow Lamborghini parked in the corner of the hanger.
Sunstreaker revved his engine, I knew he was listening. "What is you want to say, Epps?" I asked. "There's someone that wants to see you..." he said. "As long as it isn't Sideswipe..." I trailed off. Epps waved his hand "No... it's someone else," he replied. Before I could answer, the yellow Lamborghini Aventador approached "Are we talking about a mech?" he groused. I kicked his bumper. "Stay out of it!" I snapped. Sunstreaker hissed in anger and I felt his alt-mode heating up. "No... It's not a mech," Epps sulked before he gestured me to follow him.
"You want me come?" Sunstreaker asked as he slowly drove behind me. "No! Go bother someone else!" I snapped. "I tried to be nice!" He snapped. "I don't need your damn help, Sunstreaker!" I snapped back. The mech huffed in anger before he made a turn and slowly drove back to his spot in the corner. Epps eyed me "Don't say anything..." I snapped. He raised his hands "I won't... but maybe you are a little bit too hard for them..." he quickly added. I glared at him "Okay.... well meeting room two," he said.
"Thank you," I growled, walking over to the second meeting room. I stopped in the door way when I opened the door, facing my mother. 'great!' I thought sarcastically. That's the last thing I want right now, talking to my mother. I slammed the door closed, crossing my arms. "Skylar... sweetie," she said, walking over to me. I raised my hand and backed off "You have right to call me that..." I snapped, walking away from her. "What are you doing here!" I growled.
"I am here to apologize..." she said. "Should I just accept that? I already stopped thinking about you... you're not my mother anymore..." I snapped, glaring at her. She sucked in a breath and turned her head away "I know I have never been the mother you wanted me to be..." she said. "I am an accident! You told me yourself... what is you want!" I snarled. "I am sorry... but there's something I need to tell you," she said. "Which is?" I mocked, leaning against the wall. "You were right..." she began, locking the door.
I raised a brow "About what? You never really cared about me?" I asked. "I am your mother... but your father isn't your real father," she said. I crossed my arms "You are special... and I know you can mean for these aliens then you think... that's why I wanted you to live here with your uncle," she said. I slightly cocked my head to the side "I knew about the aliens, about the Decepticons, the Autobots... even before your uncle," she said.
"We both know you are a hybrid..." she added. "So, who's my father then?" I asked. "Seventeen years ago... I was twenty and I met someone... he used his holoform, so, I didn't know he was an alien. We hung out a lot, even though he was a bit scary and had dark thoughts. It all happened really quick and... Nine months later, you were there... he never knew I was pregnant... in fact, after that night I had never seen him again. Before he left, he showed me who he really was... and that if I would tell anyone he was going to kill me. I was scared and kept it a secret... at that time I already had a relationship," she sighed, sitting down.
"You haven't answered my questioned... who is my biological father?" I repeated a bit colder this time. "I will tell you, but I need you to keep it a secret... the Decepticons knows about a hybrid... but they don't know it's you. Your father was furious when he figured out you weren't his child. That's why he hates you... you can't tell anyone," she said. I sucked in a breath "Sure... who is my real father?" I asked again.
"Megatron is your father..."
