Looking back on this story, I realized I made a huge mistake. That mistake was Mike's redemption. Mike's redemption should have never happened, or I should have clarified that his and The Stranger's actions were entirely separate. I say this because Mike's character is a rapist.
At the time I was writing this, I was making it up as I went along with only a vague idea for what the endgame will be. I also was a very sheltered fourteen-year-old with no concept of truly understanding serious subjects. I did not understand the gravity of the subject I was writing, nor did I consider that my work could negative impact people.

I understand that is a fanfiction based off a video game, with two fictional characters in love, so any qualms I have with the story are not really important. However, I still felt the need to address this. And no, I'm not being forced to add this in. This is a serious apology from me, and I couldn't bear not adding this in.
In all honesty, I have come to hate this story more than AM hates humanity, and will personally never read it again. The only reason I keep this story up is that people still enjoy it somehow, and it is an example to me of what mistakes not to repeat.
