Cuphead's POV

The Stranger was in our sights. He couldn't do anything to stop us. At least a hundred of us and only one of him. What can go wrong?
[And nothing can go wrong-BAM-oH No iT aLl wHEnT wRonG!!!]
The Stranger bit his lip,"This should be interesting, won't it?"
"It's over, you psycho!" I growled.
"For who? Me?" He mocked, smirking. "We'll see about that!"
"Get ready!" The Devil demanded. "This isn't going to be easy!"
"Please! How hard can it be?" I shrugged.
In a flash, the Stranger threw a giant bolt of dark electricity into the fray. We dodged it, some of us getting singed. "Nevermind."
The Stranger chuckled,"Isn't it a good day for a swell battle? You're up!"

Mike R. Phone's POV

You couldn't say we didn't try. You'd think that with an army of Inkwell inhibitors, we could beat the Stranger in no time. That couldn't be further from the truth. He was taking us down left and right. Still, we did our best.
As the Stranger knocked down Hilda Berg with a swift kick, Beppi and Baroness were close behind.  Baroness rode Whippet, sending out her Sugarland minions. Meanwhile, Beppi got a hold of Baroness's shot gun and laughed wickedly,"Eat this!" He fired three shots towards the blind villain. The Stranger managed to dodge the first two, but got hit in the head with the third one. The Stranger growled, dark electricity sparked at the tips of his fingers and he threw it towards the two. The duo gasped, and threw their arms up, preparing for the hit. Djimmi the Great threw one of his own attacks, hoping to save his friends. Unfortunately, it failed and all three of them were blown back from the blast. Immediately afterwards, however, a train whistle blew. The Phantom Express drove at full speed and ran over the Stranger! However, it hardly made a dent. More attacks came left and right towards the blind bastard, but nothing was working.
"Dice!" The Devil ordered. "I think it's time for you to have a crack at him!"
King Dice smirked, cracking his knuckles,"Oh, I've been waiting for this for a long time."
The Devil outstretched arm got in front of me, Mug, and Cup. He said,"You might wanna stand back, things are about to get dicey."
"Stop," I gave him a look. I hate puns.
He chuckled. The Devil loves puns.
King Dice's eyes changed color from their normal lime green to a golden yellow. He floated to the air and revealed two glowing pink die in his hands,"It's time we gambled on fate, Stranger."
The Stranger turned his head to the sound of Dice's voice. His lips became a thin line.
"Pick a number and see whatcha get!" Dice said, throwing it at the villain. The Stranger caught the glowing die in his hands by luck. Then, the die flew into the air and magically reappeared in King Dice's hands.
Dice's smirk grew,"Snake eyes. You loose."
With a snap of his fingers, an army of inanimate cards came to life on their own and swarmed around the Stranger. The blind villain tried to shoot whatever was after him, but the cards got him at all different directions.
"Go Dice!" The Devil cheered his boyfriend on.
"Y'know, it's actually pretty cool to watch when he's not the one after you," Cuphead pointed out.
Mug, however, said nothing.
I noticed this,"Mug? What's wrong?"
Mug pointed at the Stranger,"It looks like he's preparing an attack. A big one, that is."
He was right. Dark electricity crackled up and down his body, like lightning. Finally, he let it all go. [Let it go-! no.]

There was a bright light.

My ears were ringing. My eyes were hazy. I tried to stand but I fell back down. My legs felt like jelly. I raised my head.

Everyone.

Everyone was on the ground, suffering.

Except him.

The Stranger smirked,"You morons really thought you could beat me? Think again!"
