Her Last 50 Days (Completed)

Day 24

Dear diary,

I had a nice morning. We went to the hospital garden and saw mr. sun again. Nasuka ako pero saglit lang. The doctor checked me, I had another MRI scan as well. I liked the hat Dominic gave me yesterday. It's a plain black printed with "I can do it" bucket hat. Talking of Dominic, I stayed awake for few hours last night thinking about him. Asking myself why do I feel such? Asking of all people why me? Of all people, bakit ginagawa sa akin to ni Dominic? He's actually the perfect guy. Siguro madami ang nagkakagusto sa kanya. Kung normal lang akong babae, probably I already liked him. Because who won't? He's a gentleman, mabait siya, funny pero most of all he's sympathetic. Probably kaya niya to ginagawa sa akin is because he pity me that's why I can't think beyond that! I'm already happy with what we have right now, with what I have kasi alam ko namang I can't stay here forever. So, i'll just cherish this one. Nothing more, nothing less!

The night was young when Dominic came to my room. He asked Mom and Dad if he can walk me in the hospital lang daw and they said yes! I followed his steps slowly towards the elevator hanggang sa nakarating kami sa rooftop habang akay akay niya ako. I was mesmerized by the view up there! Kitang kita ko ang mga bituin kasama ang maliwanag na buwan.

Dominic guided me to the sleeipng mat na may nakatayong telescope sa tabi nito. It was another first time na makita ko ang stars ng ganon kalapit. Another dream came true! Humiga kaming dalawa under the moon and it was so refreshing! Nakakawala ng sakit, nakakawala ng problema at nakakabuhay ng pag-asa!

We savored the pleasant nightsky laying on our sleeping mat with blankets on.

Dominic's giving me so many first times and that includes a kiss in the forehead.
