Chapter 2

I rose up to the sky so fast, my stomach dropped to my tail- er I mean legs. I clutched the sides of the carpet so hard that my knuckles turned as white as a ghost. Even whiter probably.

The sky was not my realm, the ocean was. The sky was Zeus's realm and let's just say Zeus and Triton don't go together well. Every bump made me sick, this wasn't anything like riding a ship.

After a while, I tried concentrating on my surroundings. There were little puffs of white clouds everywhere, and the blue sky seemed endless. The sun that was bright before now seemed blinding.

I squeezed my eyes shut and let auto pilot take over. My mind wandered off, and I kept on thinking about what the great emergency could be. I also thought about Eric, and what he was probably making out of the situation I had just put him in right now.

He was probably so confused and I guessed he was yelling at Mara, which for some reason I found satisfying. What little part of me hated that sweet innocent young lady?

Then I remembered how she was like around Eric and realization and anger started to bubble inside me, sour and bitter thoughts filled my head, and I was getting angrier and more stressed as the minutes passed.

I felt foolish, but now I couldn't stop thinking of Mara and Eric. What was that girl doing with my Eric now? I forced myself to think happy, and then I realized the silence from my father could very possibly be linked to the emergency Jasmine called.

I gulped as I thought of the danger that could be happening underwater, and I made a mental note to myself to remember to talk to Flounder about everything.

Two long and painful hours had passed when finally, the magic carpet slowly descended out of Zeus's territory and into mine. I exhaled a breath of relief as the magic carpet touched down in Jasmine's garden.

There were white lotus's everywhere, filling the garden with a sweet smell, and the indian sun beat down hard. I could hear the soft gargle of the fountain and some cooing coming from the dove cage. I looked down to see Abu waiting for me. He squeaked a little monkey noise and scampered off inside the palace, gesturing for me to follow.

I gathered up my pink dress in my hands and walked straight and tall, following the monkey. As they say, monkey see monkey do. We half walked half ran towards the big ballroom, where all the Disney girls would be. I entered the doors to find a long table filled with the main leading girls of Disney. I sat in the seat next to Belle and smiled wryly.

"Boy troubles?" She whispered as soon as I sat down. "You must be psychic." I whispered back, amazed at her uncanny ability to unscramble feelings so easily. She offered a weak smile as Jasmine started to speak and all the Princesses and ladies silenced.

"My fellow leading heroines," Jasmine began as she rose from her chair, her gold earrings swaying with her every movement. "I am sure you are all wondering why I have called you here." There were many head nods and mutters of agreements in the audience, and Jasmine continued. "I have called you because the Big Three have been awakened." I could tell everyone went pale at the sound of this, even Mulan.

The Big Three were the three biggest villains of Disney. By Big, I mean literally big, not the most evil, just the most big and therefore the most destructive. The Big Three consisted of Malificent, Jafar, and of course my nemesis, the old Ursula. I shuddered and could tell Aurora and Jasmine had the same feelings as I.

"How do you know?" Tiana demanded, banging her fist against the golden table.

"The blue fairy, who by the way couldn't come, told me." Jasmine answered in a neat and even voice.

We all were shocked. That meant that this was for real. The blue fairy would never lie, and she did patrol the sky after all. "What are they going to do?" Snow White asked, her eyes wide as the moon. Snow was the most innocent, most dearest Princess I had ever known, and seeing her scared must have affected everyone.

Jasmine seemed a little less confident as she answered this time. "I- I don't really know..." This caused a bunch of chatter, but I stayed frozen I my seat. Ursula could NOT wake up. She would hunt me down first, and hurt all things I held near and dear to my heart. Then I'd be left alone, and she'd get revenge. No wonder the ocean had been so quiet.

The room was still engulfed in conversation, when we all heard a rumbling sound. The gold table shook, and some glasses fell from the table. Steady sounds shook the whole palace like an earthquake. And then Belle, looking like she'd seen a ghost simply whispered "The Big Three are here." Then everything went wrong.

The roof was lifted off by slimy purple hands, and I sat paralyzed in shock as Ursula held the palace roof in her large hands, smiling like a maniac. All the girls were running around screaming, and panic was everywhere, but I stayed glued to my seat. Aurora did too, as well as Jasmine, and we all just stared at our old enemies. The ones who had nearly ruined our happily ever after.

"No no no no no!!!" Jasmine screamed as Jafar's hand swooped down and scooped up the Arabian princess. "NO!" I heard a masculine voice scream. Aladdin! He had come running as soon as the first scream escaped a Princesses lips no doubt.

He jumped on the magic carpet, and was flying hopelessly around Jafar's hand in a desperate attempt to save his true love. Jafar simply looked annoyed, and he swatted Alddin away like a bug.

Now the Big Three were plucking out handfuls of princesses and leading ladies, taking more and more and shoving them into little boxes. I felt a thin slender hand grab mine and steer me away from the chaos to where Aladdin had crashed.

"Hurry, we must go while we can!" Aurora, the one who had whisked me away exclaimed.

"What about our friends?!" I yelled over the noise, gesturing towards the little mob of women.

Aurora gave me a sad smile. "Somehow, Jasmine knew this was coming. She told me that you, me, and Aladdin had to save everyone, but first save ourselves." She explained as she rolled an unconscious Aladdin back on the magic carpet.

"I don't believe you." Aurora was just being a coward. How dare she leave her friends in time of need!

Aurora gave me a look of determination, and simply said this, "Get on Ariel." She hopped on with Aladdin tightly secured under her arm. I looked back, and then at the carpet again.

I reluctantly sat on the carpet, and we began to rise into the sky once again. "Next time, come earlier and maybe you would understand." Aurora snapped as we shot into the clouds so fast, I blacked out, the chaos blurring into nothing.
