Chapter 3

I came to soon, and we were gliding on the carpet in the clear blue sky as if nothing had happened. I felt the wind blow on my bare skin, making me feel cold and exposed. I looked down and realized my pink dress was shredded right below the waist, little strips of pink cloth hanging. Now how did that happen?

Aurora wasn't much better as she steered the carpet, but at least she wasn't wearing her best dress! I clicked my tongue at the shameful sight of her knees. Then I looked down at my own knees and thought, who am I to judge?

Aladdin was still knocked out, his turban long gone and his cape ripped up. His black hair just barely skimmed his eyes, and for just a second, I wanted to stroke his shiny hair. It looked so much like Eric's... As soon as the thought came though, I brushed it away like it was just some annoying fly, the same way Jafar had smacked Aladdin out of the sky.

I stared at Aurora for a couple of seconds. That sweet dreamy smile that usually occupied here face was replaced with a face filled with emotion. Her blonde waves blew around her face, her brows furrowed as she was deep in thought. A couple times, she absentmindedly pulled the skirt of her dress down.

After about five minutes, Aurora turned and realized I was watching her. She blushed a deep shade of red and her face quickly melted back into a reassuring smile. "Oh good you came to." She said in a melodic voice. I nodded, little spots of color still dotting my vision. "Where are we?" I said rubbing my eyes. Aurora shrugged and kept on flying, her slightly violet slightly blue eyes fixed ahead.

I could tell Aurora was in no mood for a conversation, so I shifted my gaze towards Aladdin once again. The little breeze that blew caused his hair to ruffle a little, as if Jasmine was tousling his hair and he had a calm and relaxed expression on his face. I wonder what he could be dreaming about.

After a while, I got bored again, and did something I had never dared to do before today. I held on tight to the little tassels that were on the ends of the carpet, and peeked below. I saw nothing but the tips of clouds, the fluffy white tops puffy and inviting. I suddenly got the urge to jump off and just float in the clouds.

I shook my head, what crazy thoughts were infecting my mind? The altitude was really getting to me, and I put my head in between my knees. I felt a little movement next to me, and saw that Aladdin had stirred a little.

I shook his shoulder gently, and his eyes flew open. He had long eyelashes and huge brown eyes, and I thought of Eric once more. Where was he? Was he safe? "What? What's going on?" Aladdin blurted out panicking. The carpet lurched from side to side as Aladdin threw a mini-fit. "Ariel stop him!" Aurora cried out as she struggled to keep the magic yet unbalanced carpet on track.

"Ariel? What? Where am I?" Aladdin knit his brows, obviously very frustrated and confused. I patted his leg. "Al, calm down I need to tell you what happened." I told Aladdin the whole story from the beginning, and I saw him pout a little when I mentioned the part about Jasmine being taken. Everything seemed so wrong as I said it. What had happened?

"Wait, back to the part where Jasmine said we had to save ourselves, what did she mean?" Aladdin choked up a little when he said her name, but quickly cleared his throat. I turned to Aurora, she had never told me that part. We both waited patiently for Aurora to explain when she finally started.

Aurora signed a little as she began to tell us her conversation with Jasmine. "You see, I was earliest, and Jasmine pulled me aside to have a brief talk. She said that the blue fairy told her that you, Ariel and I would be the saviors." She cringed a little when she said 'savior' as if being a hero was bad. "It was like Jasmine knew what was going to happen all along." And with that Aurora went silent once more.

Aladdin clasped his hands together. "So what now?" He asked leaning back. He pinched the little space in between his two eyes like he had a headache. That was a great question actually.

Aurora turned around and glanced at us. She looked scared and fear was in her eyes. "Now," she gulped. "Now we go to the Underworld.
