Chapter 6
We all turned around slowly as Hades smiled creepily at us. He was dressed in a black toga, and had the palest skin with only the slightest tint of blue, not full out blue like in the movies. He had the creepiest smirk on his face, like a tiger that had just caught his prey.
He shifted to his right side and checked his nails, which would have been comical except for the fact that this was pretty much Death in front of us. Aladdin covered his mouth as if to stifle his laughter. Hades noticed, and his nostrils flared as Aladdin dropped his hands and looked somewhat solemn again.
"Darn I thought I finally caught Hercules." Hades rolled his eyes looking bored again. Aurora looked as pale as the moon, and she passed out right in front of us. Hades snickered. "I thought I felt Megaras presence?" He rose his eyebrow questioning us all. I was still staring at Aurora who now lay on the soft green grass, her golden hair swirled around her thin face.
The candle had also fallen out of her hand, and had started a little fire, but Hade's just snapped his fingers and the fire was gone. After the fire had been extinguished he turned to the two of us, an annoyed expression on his face. His fiery head glowed a slight red, a dangerous sign. "Why was Megara here?" He demanded pointing accusingly at us, his eyes glowing in anger.
I shrink under his powerful glare, but Aladdin seemed somewhat unchanged. He gulped before talking. "You Royal godness, Meg had come forth to answer a question." He bowed as he spoke and Hades rose his eyebrow once more. "What was the question?" Hades asked, his hair glowing a little less.
Aladdin ran his hand through his hair before speaking. "I want- I want to find Jasmine." He faltered the slightest bit. Hades seemed to calm down as Aladdin spoke, but then he sneered. "Oh and you probably thought I had her?" His hair burst into violent shades of red, but flickered back to blue in just one second.
Aladdin paled and I nodded for him, kicking Auroras leg lightly. 'Wake up!' I shouted at her mentally. She stirred, and I kicked her once more as Hades studied us. Then he laughed, a big and deep sound that echoed. We laughed nervously with him, not sure what this meant.
"And now you're going to Malificents?" He giggled. Can dead people giggle? He shook his head while staring at us more. "I'll let you go." He finished, waving his hand dismissively. Aladdins mouth flew open, so did mine.
"Why?" I managed to squeak out I my astonishment. He looked at me right in my eye, a cruel and icy cold humor in his eyes. "Because you don't have a chance anyways." And he turned away, admiring all the flowers before disappearing out of sight. We stood there astonished, and soon Aurora came to.
"Whaaa?" Aurora muttered groggily. She slowly got up, rubbing her eyes. "Nothing." I grimaced. Aladdin sucked in some air before talking. "Time to get on the carpet. At least we know our destination." He shrugged and we turned, about to walk before realizing the magic carpet was right there.
"He thought of everything apparently." Aladdin said, gesturing towards the platters of food o the carpet.
"Who's he?" Mumbled Aurora sleepily. "I'll tell you later." I sighed, but for now I needed some sleep. We all boarded the carpet, and soon I fell asleep, the world turning into nothing.
