A/N: Hello everyone!! It has literally been over a year since I last updated and I can't tell you how sorry I am. In all honesty, I had lost motivation for this book, but I'm back! I love this series so much and need to finish it! I have other book ideas in my drafts and I want to get them out as soon as possible. I refuse to do so until this book is finished. I hope you enjoy this chapter, and I absolutely don't plan on taking this long ever again to get you an update. I love you all so much. Enjoy! Let me know what you think! There is some smut, so enjoy.
-Louis' P.O.V
That evening, after everything got settled between Harry and Anna, we were all cuddled on the sofa watching a movie. The kids had school that next day since some ice had melted, so they'd be going to bed as soon as the movie was finished. During "Alvin and the Chipmunks", my phone started to ring. I gently shifted Anna so I could reach over and grab my phone, my eyebrow raising at Jeremy's name coming across my phone. I kissed my daughter on the head before getting up and leaving the room to answer it.
"What?" I spat.
"Louis," I rolled my eyes.
"I don't want to speak to you,"
"Please Louis, I wanted to see my daughter,"
"Oh fuck no. You're not going to screw with her head anymore. You're fucked up," My tense shoulders relaxed when I felt my husband's lips on my shoulder blade. "I'm not letting you see her,"
"She's my kid-"
"She stopped being your kid the moment you walked out on her," I spat. "That's not how parenting works,"
"So you aren't giving her a chance on whether or not she wants me in her life?"
"I am very certain that she doesn't give a shit about you," Harry kissed my shoulder again before I walked out of the room. "Considering she now knows that you would rather pretend to be dead than to be her father," Suddenly as I was looking towards the theater room, my oldest daughter did come into the room.
"I-Is that Papa...?... Jeremy, I mean?" She asked timidly. I took the phone away from my ear.
"Yeah, baby, it is. D-Did you want to talk to him?" She nodded. I put the phone back to my ear. "She wants to talk to you," I handed the phone to my kid.
"Hello?" She said shyly, holding my hand tightly. I rubbed her knuckle with my thumb to help calm her nerves. "I-I'm good. School is good too," She nodded in response to something he said. "Yeah, that was my best friend Lexi," I could see her fighting tears, but my strong girl held them back. I pulled her in for a small hug, just holding her as she talked on the phone. "Yes, but I dunno if Daddy would let me," I pulled away from the hug to look at her face. I raised my eyebrow. "I'll ask him," She looked at me. "He asked if we could talk in person,"
"By yourself?" She nodded. "Absolutely not," I shot that idea down immediately. "If he wants to see you, I will be going with you," I held my hand out for the phone. She gave it right back. "It's up to her whether or not she wants to meet you in person, but I will be joining. I don't trust you with her,"
"I figured. I just want to explain to her what happened okay? I need her to know that I do love her, and I always have,"
"Save it for her. Where are we meeting and when? She has school, and I have work,"
"Saturday? I was thinking the arcade downtown," I looked back at my kid.
"Wanna go to the arcade on Saturday?" She nodded. "Alright," I said into the phone. "See you at six?"
