When You Called Me Over That Day (Kirito x Sinon)

Chapter 15

~~Shino's POV~~

          After Kirito said that, both of them disappeared. No, they both were moving so fast, my eyes couldn't keep up with their movements.

          The battle didn't last long, but for 5 minutes I was staring at an open area. All I could hear were their voices, screaming at each other.

          After the 5 minutes were over, I suddenly saw Kirito appear in the sky all of a sudden. He fell down from about 30 metres in the air.

           Before he fell down flat on the ground I ran at top speed and caught him before he got hurt even more.

Did he... lose?

          I knelt down and laid Kirito's head on my lap.

          I looked around to see where Asuna was. I spotted her in a tree, sitting there and looking at the tree, breathing heavily. She was quite hurt but I saw her taking out a Health Potion and drinking it.

"HEY! ASUNA! WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE YOU DOING?!"

          Asuna didn't do anything. She was probably too tired to talk.

          Asuna took out a Health Potion and threw it to me. After she did that, her hands dropped down and she didn't move.

          I quickly put the potion in his mouth for him to drink it.

          After a few seconds, he woke up. He looked at me and I started to cry.

"Eh? Sinon, why are you crying? If it's because of what just happened, it's okay. Even if I died, I would just respawn. So please don't cry."

          I heard his voice and I started to cry even more.

"Thank you, Kirito."

          He smiled at me and went unconscious.

          Asuna came down and stood in front of me. She looked disappointed and sad.

"Sorry, I..."

          She stopped talking.

          She squatted down and tried to stroke Kirito's hair. She touched his head but I slapped it away.

"Don't touch him!"

          She pulled her hand back and looked down.

"What am I doing?"

          She said with her hands on her face. Her face showed fear.

          I stared at her, with pity eyes.

"I'm sorry that I did that to him, but I'm not giving up on him."

          After that, she stood up and ran into the forest.

          I sat there with Kirito on my lap for a long time, stroking his head. Afterwards, I carried him back to the cabin and laid him on the bed for him to recover. I waited until he woke up so we could say bye and so we could log off together. I sat on the bed just waiting for him to wake up.

I wonder when he's going to wake up.
