Chapter 10

~~Kazuto's POV~~

          It was taking a while for her to tell me what she wanted to tell me. I poured tea into my cup and took a sip out of it.

          Shino looked kinda nervous. She was sweating a whole lot. She looked more nervous than Asuna.

          Shino started shouting all of a sudden.

"I'm going to the bathroom!"

"Uh, okay."

          As Shino was leaving the room, she looked at Asuna and winked at her.

What in the world are they planning?

          I look at Shino as she walks into the corridor, leaving my sight.

          I started to get a little impatient. I mean, first you dump me, come to my house unannounced and stop the wonderful conversation I was having with Shino.

"So? What did you want to say?"

Aww man, this is gonna take forever. When is Shino coming back?

"I-I w-want to t-tell you a-about w-why I b-broke u-up with y-you."

          Asuna started to tear up.

          I started to panic when she started crying. Usually, I would put my hands around her and tell her it's all okay. But now...

What am I supposed to do? This situation is too awkward.

"What about it?"

          I took another sip of my tea and set it back down on the table.

I wanna sleeeeeeep. This is taking toooooo loooong.

          I was getting kinda frustrated at this point.

          I walked over to Asuna and sat next to her. I looked away and put my left arm around her and pat her on the back.

"It's okay. Just tell me and we can figure something out."

Oh man, I hope I sounded convincing just then. I was really forcing those words out.

          Asuna stopped crying and wiped away her tears.

"Kazuto, I'm sorry. I wish I didn't break up with you."

          I tilted my head.

"What do you mean?"

"Well, the guy I went out with after I broke up with you was my ex boyfriend. He said he wanted to get back together and I was really happy. I didn't know that while we were dating, I still thought about him a lot, like we were still dating."

          She stopped talking for a while and drank some tea.

          She then continued:

"Apparently, he was using me to get back his ex girlfriend."

"Huh?"

"Kazuto, I'm really sorry. Please forgive me."

          She started crying again. She tried to hug me but I pushed her away.

"Please don't."

          I sat next to her looking the other way. My hands covering my face.

          She was thinking of another guy while we were dating? And she didn't even talk to me about it.

          Suddenly I felt something on my hand. I looked at Asuna and her hand was on mine.

"Kazuto, can we get back together, please?"
