When You Called Me Over That Day (Kirito x Sinon)

Chapter 16

~~Kazuto's POV~~

          I woke up to see a pretty girl on my right. I was in bed, in one of the cabins' bedrooms.

          Sinon was sitting on a chair next to the bed. Her upper half of her body was laying on the bed I was on. One of her hands was on mine and she was sound asleep.

          I poked Sinon's face. She slowly opened her eyes and looked up at me. She sat up and rubbed her eyes.

"Morning, Kirito."

"Morning, Sinon. But it's night time right now."

          Her face started to turn red.

"Haha."

          I laughed. Everything felt normal. Just me and her.

"Sinon, we should log off now. Thanks for staying with me while I was unconscious."

"No problem, see you later Kirito."

          I logged off.

          I took off the AmuSphere and headed downstairs. I grabbed some snacks and went back up to my room.

          While I was heading back to my room, I had a feeling of discomfort. This feeling was a mix of annoyance, anger and hatred. I couldn't think of what it could be.

          I opened the door to my room and went straight over to the computer. I started playing some games while eating the goods I brought up.

          The feeling kept flowing inside me until I got a text from Shino.

Shino: Hey, are you still awake?

Hmm, I wonder what she's texting for?

Kazuto: Yea, I'm still awake. What's up?

          It took a while for her to reply but she eventually did.

Shino: Want to go out together tomorrow? Since it's the last day of summer tomorrow,I was thinking that we should hang out.

          I completely forgot that tomorrow was the last day of summer. I still had homework that I didn't finish.

Aww man

          I thought about it for awhile and I agreed to go out with her tomorrow.

Kazuto: Alright, sure. Where shall we meet? And where will we go?

Shino: Come over to my house in the morning tomorrow and where we're going is a surprise.

          I smiled at the screen and agreed.

Kazuto: Okay, see you tomorrow.

          We said 'bye' to each other and I went over my desk to find the homework I didn't finish.

          As I was looking for it, I found a picture of Asuna and I having ice cream together after school. The picture was both of us feeding each other ice cream. The side of my cheek was coloured white from Asuna's vanilla ice cream that she purposely missed just to smudge it on my face.

          I looked at Asuna's smiling face and I knew what the feeling of discomfort was from.

"I WON'T LOSE TO HER AGAIN! NEVER AGAIN!"
