When You Called Me Over That Day (Kirito x Sinon)

Chapter 19

~~Kazuto's POV~~

          Me and Shino went to play other games. We played more shooter games and some other games that I usually don't play. But I had fun.

"Kazuto."

"Yea?"

"I'm getting a little hungry. Wanna go eat something?"

*growl*

"Ah, I was having so much fun, I didn't realize I was hungry. Let's go eat."

          The arcade had 3 sections. There was the section with all the games, the food court and a playground. We went to the food court.

          We ordered a pizza. I bought cola and Shino bought water.

          We walked around the crowded court for a while, trying to find a place to sit. After searching for about 5 minutes, we both managed to find a cozy spot at the very corner of the whole arcade. It was a round table surrounded with one long cushioned chair wrapping around the table. Above us was a light emitting just enough light for us to each other. The walls filled with posters.

          We sat down and waited for our pizza. I placed down an item that the cashier gave us on the table. Apparently, it was a device for the worker to find us and give us our order.

          While we were waiting for the pizza to arrive, me and Shino talked about school.

"Kazuto, did you hear? We're in the same class!"

"Really? That's great. Let's sit next to each other."

"Yea, let's do that."

          We kept on talking and we were suddenly interpreted.

"Hey Kazuto! Hey Shino!"

          I looked over to where I thought the voice was coming from.

          In the distance I saw a girl with light brown hair and two tails tied by two red ribbons. I saw Keiko (Silica's IRL name).

          Keiko ran over to us.

"Hello!"

"Hey Keiko."

"Hi Keiko."

          Keiko looked at me, confusion written all over her face.

"Hey, Kazuto."

"Weren't you supposed to hangout with Asuna today?"

"Eh?? Why do you say that?"

          She sat down next to Shino.

"Well... while I was on my way over here, I bumped into Asuna. She said she was going to your house to hangout."

"Ehhh... really?"

          I wondered why she would go to my house without even telling me, so I asked:

"Did she say anything else?"

"No, nothing worth mentioning. We talked for a little while but nothing about why she was going to your house."

"Ah okay. Thanks Keiko."

          The item that the cashier gave us started ringing, alerting us that the food was on its way to the table.

"Oh, I should go now. I don't want to disturb both of you."

"Bye Keiko"

"See ya, Keiko!"

"Bye Shino! Bye Kazuto!"

          I looked down at the table.

          Why did Asuna have to come up in conversation...?

*sigh*
