Chapter 25

~~Kazuto's POV~~

          The next class started. It was math class. The teacher started teaching and everyone sat there listening to what he had to say.

I'm bored. I wonder what Shino is doing.

          Look to my left to see what Shino was doing and what I saw shocked me. Shino was asleep! She placed her book up right so that the teacher couldn't see her sleeping. She looked cute while she was sleeping. I couldn't concentrate on my teacher anymore. My eyes were attracted to Shino's cute sleeping face.

I shouldn't be doing this. I shouldn't be staring at her while she's sleeping.

          I looked back in front. I didn't understand a thing on the board, so I started looking around the class. I turned my head a little to the right and my eyes met Asuna's. She was lying on her desk, looking at me. Her book was also placed like Shino's book, so the teacher wouldn't see her.

Why is she looking at me?

          I looked back at her, trying to tell her to look in front by looking back and forth between her and teacher. She shook her head left and right, telling me she didn't want to.

          I looked away from her. I was tired of trying to tell her to stop looking at me. I laid my chin on my right palm and looked in front to look at the board. I suddenly felt warmth in my other hand. I looked to the side. Shino was sleeping... on my hand?

          Her cheek was on my hand and the top of my hand was on the table. Both her hands were holding near my wrist area. She was using my hand as a pillow. I didn't mind it at all. She started to smile a small smile while she was asleep.

          I looked at the board again, the teacher was gone. On the board, it read 'I'm going to take some papers'. I suddenly got hit in the head. The object that was thrown at me landed on the table. I unwrapped it with one hand. It read: You better not be doing anything indecent with Shino.

          I looked over at her and shook my head, indicating that nothing weird is going on. She gave me a 'are you sure' look. I nodded my head. Asuna was about to do another action but she was cut off by Silica, grabbing her.

          The teacher walked back into the classroom.

"Everyone! Take one paper and pass it to the back!"

          It took awhile but me and Shino finally received our papers. I collected it for her and placed it next to her, where she wasn't sleeping. Shino was still hugging my hand but I managed to block it from the students in front of us with another book. Class continued and I just sat still, trying not to wake Shino up.

          She didn't move a lot. She was stuck onto my hand, like she didn't want to let go. If I move, she grips my hand super hard so I won't take my hand away.

When was she so strong?

          Class had barely gone by. It was only 15 minutes into the lesson and there was still 45 minutes left.

          After seeing her sleep, I started getting sleepy myself.

          A few minutes passed by and before I knew it, I was in dream land.

          I was suddenly woken up to a loud scream.

"Kazuto! Shino! Wake up! Don't you dare sleep in my class! Detention for both of you!"

          I woke up and ignored the teacher. I looked at the time.

          Finally! Class ends in 5 minutes! Yay!

          I looked at Shino. She was still sound asleep. I smiled at her while the teacher was furiously shouting from the front of the class.
