When You Called Me Over That Day (Kirito x Sinon)

Chapter 21

~~Kazuto's POV~~

"I actually... like yo-"

*bzzt* *bzzt*

Seriously? Why do I have to get a call just as I was about to tell Shino I like her?

          I pick up the phone.

Asuna...

Asuna: Hey Kazuto!

Kazuto: Hey, what do you want?

          She turned on her camera so I could see what was happening on her side.

Asuna: You better come home quick.

What?

Kazuto: No, seriously, what do you want?

Asuna smiled. She turned the camera and I saw Suguha, my sister, tied up to a chair.

          I saw this and I was shocked.

No way is this real...

Asuna: So Kazuto, you better come home soon or something might happen to Suguha.

          As she said that, she showed off a knife.

Asuna: Well, see you soon!

Kazuto: What?! Hey! Explain what's happening!

*beep* *beep*

AH! I was having so much fun too!

          I started to get angry.

"Sorry Shiro, I have to go back home right now. There's an emergency."

"Oh o-"

          I kissed her on the cheek and ran off.

          The sky, covered in stars, started to be covered with clouds. The moon was gone.

          My house wasn't that far away from the park me and Shino went to.

          It was usually a 10 minute walk but if I run, I can reduce the time by half.

          I ran back home and slammed the door open. The house was completely dark. I tried switching on the light but it didn't turn on. I hugged the wall and made it to the stairs. From what I saw in the video, it looked like they were in my room. In the video, I could see posters and a lot of books. I crawled up the stairs.

*BOOM!*

          Light came through the window for just a second and I was greeted with darkness right after.

This is so dangerous. I could easily fall off.

          I made it to the top, safe. I followed the wall, my hand pressed the wall.

          I made it to the first door of the second floor. It was Suguha's room.

          I should open it to check if Suguha was inside. I twisted the doorknob and peeked inside. 

          Nothing. I didn't hear anything.

          I kept walking through the hallway until I reached the second and final room of this floor, my room.

          I creaked open the door. As I was about to look inside, I felt something on my shoulder. Someone was grabbing my shoulder.

"Hey... Kazuto!"
