Chapter 2

~~Shino's POV~~

          I waited for Kazuto, lying on my bed waiting for my door to be knocked on. *bzzt* *bzzt*, I got a message. I picked up my phone and the message was from Kazuto.

Kazuto: Coming. I'm almost there.

          I walked outside. *BOOM*. A loud thunder. I looked outside, waiting for Kazuto. The sky was grey and it started to rain a little.

Where's Kazuto? It's about to rain...

          5 minutes have passed and I see Kazuto soaked. He looked different. His eyes showed no emotion.

"Hey Kazuto," I said as I waved to him.

          He didn't react. He was staring down to the floor. It was like he didn't hear me. There looked like there was something on his mind.

          I went over to Kazuto and tapped on his shoulder.

"Hello? Kazuto. Kazuto!"

          Kazuto suddenly looked up surprised and looked confused.

"Oh, hey Shino. How are you?"

"Good. But you don't. Why were you so late? And you look like a wreck!"

          He looked back down and lifted his wrist to his eyes.

*sniff*

          Kazuto started crying. His phone in his right hand was broken and he was slouching more than usual.

"I-I b-broke up wi-with As-Asuna"

          I was shocked. I felt bad for him. I really did feel bad for him but I felt guilty at the same time. I felt guilty because a part of me felt... happy.

          I was standing there, looking at his hair facing me. His face was still looking down. I walked up to him and gave him a hug. He stood still.

"Everything will be fine."

          We hugged for a long while and I let go of him. He looked up at me and gave a smile.

"Go in and take as shower. Looks like you won't be going back anytime soon. It's starting to rain.

"OK, thanks."

~~Kazuto's POV~~

Shino is so nice. With those few words coming out from her mouth and a hug, she made me feel much better. I don't feel so lonely anymore, but it's not completely gone.

          I went into her house and she handed me a towel. I went into the bathroom and took a shower.

          After I was done, I realized that I didn't have any clothes.

Wait... WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO WEAR?! All my clothes are all wet!

          I realized this and started panicking. I opened the door a little and peeked out. Shino was sitting on the sofa looking at her phone.

I have 2 options right now. I can either wait till my clothes dry or ask Shino for help. Wait... what am I thinking? Ah! What should I do? What should I do?

          I crouched down and put my hands on my head, panicking.

What should I do?

*Knock* *Knock*

Shino's knocking on the door? Hmm, I should answer.

"Yes?!"

"Hey, Kazuto! You've been in there for a while! Are you OK?"

"Uh... yea. Just a tiny problem."

"What happened?"

"Well... I... don't have any dry clothes... I didn't expect to get wet..."

          The 2 rooms were silent for a while. I stood still and looked at my wet clothes and thought of a way to dry them off fast.

~~Shino's POV~~

OMG, Kazuto is naked in the bathroom, in my house! This is crazy! OK, OK, calm down Shino. You gotta keep it cool.

          I think about what I could do.

Hmm, I could go to his house and get his clothes. But it's raining so heavily. I usually go to the laundrette to wash and dry my clothes and it's quite far away. I could give him one of my shirts and shorts? Hmm, it might be too small. Then again, he isn't that much bigger than me. I should go find my biggest shirt and shorts.

          I went through some of my drawers and found him a black v neck shirt with a cute cat holding a ball on the front and black shorts with 2 white stripes on the side. Both the shirt and the shorts were my biggest clothes and I hardly wore them.

          I went back to the front of the door Kazuto was in.

*Knock* *Knock*

"Hey, Kazuto! Open the door a little!"

          Kazuto opened the door a little, looking out the door with 1 eye. I gave him the clothes and closed the door.

"It's some of my clothes! You can wear it for now! You owe me, kay?"

"Alright, thanks! But are you sure I can fit in these?!"

"Who knows?! Just try it!"

~~Kazuto's POV~~

          My face turns red just by thinking I'm going to wear a girls clothes. I tried it on and it was a little big.

Why does she have such big clothes...?

          I put my hand on the doorknob, twisting it open and pushing the door open.

What's Shino going to think?
