When You Called Me Over That Day (Kirito x Sinon)

Chapter 12

~~Shino's POV~~

          After a while, I walked back into the room. Nothing happened. So I tried to start up a conversation.

"I'm back, what should we do?"

          Asuna and Kazuto looked away from me.

Eh??? What's happening?

          Nobody said anything for a long while.

"Do you guys want to meet up in ALO later?"

          Kazuto spoke so suddenly that it scared me. He broke the silence and I continued.

"Sure. Are you coming too, Asuna?"

          Asuna didn't look at me. She kept on staring at the floor.

          The silence was about to take over again but Asuna answered before things got too awkward.

"Yea, okay."

          Her voice was a little different. Like there was something stuck in her throat, making her voice sound angry and frustrated at something.

          We all agreed to play at 11pm and meet up at their cabin.

          After that, me and Asuna left. But before we started walking home, Kazuto pulled me back inside the house. He started whispering in my ear.

"Can me and you meet up at 10pm?"

          I was still shocked from the sudden movement and I started blushing.

"U-uh sure."

          He let go of my hand and walked outside to wave us off.

I wonder what that was all about.

          I walked back to Asuna's house and waved to her, then I walked back to my house.

          When I reached there, I changed my clothes and ate some food. I checked the time.

Ah, it's 10:02pm. I'm a little late.

          I put on the AmuSphere.

"Link start!"

          I arrived at ALO.

          I was at the cabin's kitchen as that was where I last logged out.

"Hello?!"

          I called out but nobody answered. I went to the living room and saw nobody. I decided to take a seat on one of the chairs and close my eyes for a while.

          As my eyes were about to see the darkness, I felt a warm sensation around me. I looked around and I saw Kirito at the back of me, hugging me from behind.

"Oh, hey Kirito!"

"Hey Sinon!"

          He let go.

"Wanna go walk around outside together?"

          It was quite sudden but I was happy when he asked me that.

Yay, now I get to spend some time with him!
