Chapter 22

~~Kazuto's POV~~

          My vision got blurry and I couldn't see.

*...*

          I woke up, in a dark room. The only light source was the window on my right. It was night time but the lamp post's light was making its way through the window. In front of me was another person. I couldn't see it but I guessed that it was Suguha.

          The rain was smacking the window hard.

*Boom* *Boom*

          Thunder.

          I looked around the room and at the very corner, in the darkness, I could see a figure, standing there. It was really dark so I couldn't really tell who it was. I thought it might be Asuna. This figure didn't do anything for a while. Maybe it doesn't know that I'm awake yet. I kept quiet and tried to untie the rope that was restraining me from standing up. I was doing quite fine. The ropes weren't that well tied, but I made a mistake and almost fell to the side. Thankfully, my right leg managed to stop myself from falling down, but I made a loud sound.

          I looked at the figure. Suddenly, I see eyes staring at me.

"Hello. How was your sleep?"

          She sounded like Asuna.

"HEY! WHERE'S SUGUHA!"

          She dragged out the other figure that was in front of me. She pulled it into the light and it was Suguha.

"Thank goodness, you're safe."

"She won't be if you don't do what I say."

          Asuna stepped into the light that was going through the window. She was holding a knife.

"Kazuto."

"Ye-yes?"

          I started to sweat a lot.

"Get back together with me or Suguha... will get hurt."

          My eyes widened. I started to sweat even more.

"No! Don't hurt her!"

"Then be my boyfriend again."

          I couldn't do anything.

"Kazuto, you have 20 seconds."

Shoot! Ahh. This is torture!

"..."

          The room was quiet.

"10"

Ah! She started counting!

"9"

I can't do this!

"8"

But Suguha might...

"7"

Get hurt.

"6"

This is bad!

"5"

I can't think!

"4"

Because...

"3"

I love...

"2"

Shino!

"1"

But it's for Suguha.

"Zer-"

"Fine!"

          She gave an evil smile.

"Good."

          I look down at the floor, depressed.

"Now..."

          I look up at her, wondering what she was going to say next but not really wanting to hear it at the same time.

"Go on a date with me after school tomorrow!"

          After she said that, thunder filled our ears and she gave a bright smile.

"Fine..."
