Tony was trying to pick up the dozens of bottles lining the inside of his beach home. He remembered bringing in california babes here almost every night and damn did he hate himself for all those memories. He felt disgusting. Stephen was nowhere to be found, probably in some hocus-pocus realm as far as Tony knew, so he might as well tidy up before leaving this dump; perhaps even sell it later.
After a couple of more minutes to himself Tony could hear one of Stephen's portals open behind him and out came the sorcerer. He sighed tiredly but gave Tony a nice smile. "Hello Anthony"
Tony regarded him warily and continued to pick up other items that he could throw away around the small place. He half hoped that Stephen had left, it would make dying today a whole lot easier. “Nice to see you haven’t been lying to me the whole time.”
"I wouldn't lie to you about something so serious" Stephen looked at Tony. "Are you feeling any better? No headaches or anything?"
Tony shrugged and the jostling movement made him slightly dizzy. All the alcohol from yesterday was finally getting to him. “Eh, not really no. It’s not like my first time coming here alone or anything…”
Stephen hummed, seeming not convinced that Tony was completely okay but let it slide. "Have you had anything to eat? Drink even? And I mean water or juice"
“Relax fairy godmother, my coffee machine broke last week anyways. And no I haven’t had the motivation most would as I’ve steadily become more sober,” he rolled his eyes and plopped down on the couch.
"Well you should eat something, like fruit perhaps. Do you have any?" Stephen sat down next to Tony.
“Fruit? Never heard of it,” Tony grumbled and scooted away a tad bit, crossing his arms across the reactor with a huff. “Are you my nanny now or something?”
"I'm just trying to take care of you and make sure you're well" Stephen looked at Tony. "so no huffing at me when I'm helping you"
“So you are a nanny then, didn’t deny it either,” he looked away from him pointedly and glared at the other wall, his annoyance turning more into being flustered. “I don’t need some magic man babysitting me.”
"Well maybe you do but I'm here because I care about you" Stephen stood up. "I'm getting you fruit and you are going to eat them when I bring them" he crossed his arms.
Tony raised an eyebrow and looked at him incredulously. “Oh yeah? Are you going to hang me upside down and force feed me or something? Cause that’s what it’s gonna take.”
Stephen smirked, an idea coming to mind. "No but I'll remember that later on" The sorcerer opened a small portal, put his hand through and got out a small box of strawberries. "These should make you feel much better"
“Yeah, I don’t think so,” Tony stood up quickly and backed away, quietly slipping towards the front door to make his escape and then throw himself off the nearest cliff. “Might as well forget about it cause I won’t be around to eat them anyways!” He ripped the door open and started running.
Stephen sighed and placed the strawberries on the coffee table and floated outside, he could see Tony from a distance. Easier for him to make a portal appear under the mechanic and fall back to the couch. "Yeah you can't out run me and I don't even have to go after you. Why did you run for anyways? Strawberries aren't going to kill you"
“What if I’m allergic deutsche bag? You’d kill me then, now wouldn’t you?” Tony glared up at him as he hovered over the couch, blushing darkly. He squirmed underneath him but knew it was useless, and he sighed in defeat. “I wasn’t even running because of the strawberries anyways…”
