Almost late at night Tony was up on the balcony of his tower gazing out over the city. It was chilly and he hugged himself slightly, not wearing a jacket of any sort as he watched. The "cityness" of it all made him miss the beachside slightly and he sighed, wishing on a star that Stephen would come to him. "Oh, and make sure he comes with a present," he pleaded.
Tony didn't notice a portal appear a few feet behind him and Stephen came out quietly. He slowly walked to him and covered Tony's eyes, hands shaking slightly. "Guess who" he smiled.
Tony felt his weak heart take a leap of excitement, and he hummed in mock thought. "Now let's see... who could possibly have the motivation to ambush me like this... is it Wong?" he smirked playfully. "Good thing Stephen isn't here Wong, our secret is still safe."
Stephen chuckled lightly and removed his hands. "Very funny Anthony" he gave a kiss to Tony's cheek. "Missed me?" He turned the mechanic around and wrapped his arms around the brunette's waist.
Tony nuzzled into his neck and held onto him by wrapping his arms around his neck. "Wait a second, you're not Wong," he giggled. "Busted." He kisses his jawline sweetly. "I missed you more than anything in the world, Stephen..."
"I know, I've missed you dearly as well Anthony.." Stephen kissed Tony's forehead. "I've also-" the cloak beat Stephen to it and raised it's corner that was holding flowers for the mechanic. The sorcerer chuckled lightly. "Got you flowers"
Tony grinned and took them, smelling their fragrance and sighed heavily. "My wishes came true tonight," he chuckled and placed them in a nearby vase, then came back to Stephen and held him close again. "It's getting a bit late, anything you want to do with me tonight?"
"perhaps hold you a little while longer....look up at the sky, what do you see?" Stephen said softly and watched as Tony turned around to look up. The sorcerer assumed he was gonna get some sort of sarcastic comment but before that was possible Strange had unleashed The Hoary Hosts of Hoggoth and in Tony's view were these beautiful blue butterflies that seemed to surround them now.
Tony gasped in wonder and watched them flutter around, almost like they were their own force of nature. He reached out to touch one but it flew away before he could, and he smiled, impressed and a little enchanted. "Whoa... that was beautiful!"
"Anything to see that beautiful smile.." Stephen smiled and kissed Tony's cheek. He'd do whatever he can to make the mechanic happy. Show him just how much he loves him.
Tony blushed and took his hand, giving it a tug and he led him up to a stairwell, starting to climb. "C'mon, there's something on the roof I wanna show you..." he said as he pulled Stephen along.
Stephen kept his smile and let Tony lead him to the roof. The sorcerer was curious as to what the mechanic wanted to show him.
Tony pushed the doors open to reveal a candle lit table dinner with the stars and sky for a roof over dinner. Tony blushes slightly and smiles, leading him over to it. "I set this up myself..."
Stephen was definitely surprised and impressed by this gesture. "Oh Anthony....it's perfect.." the sorcerer pecked the mechanic's lips. He felt so touched. "All my years....no one's ever done something like this for me.."
"Well then let me be the first," Tony murmured and returned the kiss, taking him to a seat and pushing him in before sitting opposite. "Jarvis, set the mood please." The outside lights of the tower dimmed and soon everything was much more romantic. "So, how was your trip or mission or whatever the hell you do," Tony chuckled.
Stephen blushed as the lights dimmed and looked forward at his boyfriend. "It went well actually...they get a bit more difficult every time but I manage"
