Tony was pacing around in the bedroom, waiting for Stephen to come home. He couldn't get his mind off the idea he had to help Wiccan, and he knew it was risky, but there was also a chance to save him! He chewed his nails and then sat down on the bed, crossing his legs and hugging himself slightly. He also knew that the sorcerer wouldn't want him to do what he was planning, but he had given up so much just to keep the mechanic alive and well, and even Wiccan gave his life, so Tony knew that he must give something up as well.

Stephen eventually returned of course the sad look on his face. To think he had to worry about two plans: a wedding and...a funeral. The sorcerer wasn't in the mood for portals or floating so he walked. When walking into the room Tony was currently in now he was slightly confused. "Anthony why were you pacing around?" Strange asked which took the mechanic out of his thoughts.

Tony stood up and went over to him taking his hand and pulling him along without any explanation. He led the sorcerer downstairs to the lab and pushed open the doors to reveal a chair with machines all around it, and tons of chords of all kinds. "I think I might know how to bring Wiccan back, Stephen... it's risky, but it's worth a shot..."

The silence was concerning as they went downstairs, what was he doing? Stephen stared at all the machines and chords that were presented to him. Wait- "Bring Wiccan back? But how on earth is all of this going to do that?" The sorcerer looked at his fiance with such concern and confusion.

Tony sighed and looked away, taking his hand back as he did so. He hoped that Stephen would understand that there was at least a 30% chance he would live, which was more than he could ever hope for. "Well... it would be powered by my reactor, and the energy should shock him back to life... and I'm sure I'll live too-"

"What?" Stephen said in a louder voice than he intended. "How sure do you think this will work? Anthony I already lost my friend, I don't want to lose my fiance either..." Strange turned around, already feeling overwhelmed by this. Death was unfair yes and it would be great if Wiccan came back but... dying is a natural thing that will happen to everyone...it's something that must be accepted but the sorcerer couldn't accept it.

Tony went after him, still trying to convince him even though he knew that it was probably going to end up hurting his fiance more. Always hurting people, Tony... The mechanic shook the negative thoughts away and took Stephen's hand tightly, looking at him with pleading eyes. "Stephen, I don't think you understand... I need to do this... please don't be angry with me... I-I'm just sick and tired of being given things I don't deserve all the time, and I want to do something right for once..."

Stephen looked back with a sad and worried expression. Tony seemed so sure about this and thinks that it's the only right he'll do...oh he's done so much more right than he realizes and strange wishes he could see it. "I could never be angry at you Anthony...upset sometimes yes but angry never..." The sorcerer sighed, the mechanic really wanted to do this. Strange will give him this even if it might end up costing more... "Fine, just, just do it.."

Tony had expected this to upset his Stephen, and he wished that he could give him something more than just a tight hug at the moment. But he did and held him tight, burying his face into his chest since he was a lot shorter than his fiance. "I love you, Stephen..." he whispered softly, "I promise that I'll be careful... I know I'm upsetting you by this, but I promise I have something that might start to make it up to you afterwards..."

"Okay..."Stephen whispered back as his loose hold then tightened. He kissed the top of Tony's head and sighed shakily. Please, for once let something good happen and not a fraction of a good, a complete and full amount of good would be nice... "I love you too Anthony..." The sorcerer said in a wavy voice. The brunette has his whole world and never does he want his world taken away.
