Ondreaz Lopez: Six Months with You

Fourth Chapter 

Ondreaz: So I think I should know where we’re going. 
Luna: I think you should relax. 
Ondreaz: Why wouldn’t you let me take you on a date?
Luna: Should I not get to choose the date?
Ondreaz: Well this is my first date with you.
Luna: Mine too. 
Ondreaz: Are we there yet? I took Ondreaz’s hand and held it. We came to a stoplight and I looked over at him. 
Luna: Ondreaz, please stop annoying me. We both laugh. I drive over to the spot. I take Ondreaz’s hand and lead him into the race car track. 
Luna: I hope this is okay?
Ondreaz: That’s so cool I can honestly say I’ve never done this on a date. We got ready and it was so much fun. We were in training race cars and I let Ondreaz win. We were done and headed back to the car. 

Ondreaz: That was so cool how did you come up with that?
Luna: It was my favourite thing to do. There are so many new things here you have to teach me, I wanted to do something new with you.
Ondreaz: Mission accomplished, does the night end here or?
Luna: No, because apparently every american date has to have food.
Ondreaz: That is absolutely correct. I pull up in a fast food restaurant drive thru. We order and I drive off. I pull up in an empty parking lot. We started talking as we ate our food and then my alarm went off. 
Luna: It’s time! I come out of the car, Ondreaz does the same. I lay on the hood of the car and pat the place next to me inviting Ondreaz. As he lays down next to me an airplane comes flying above us. 
Ondreaz: Woah! 
Luna: I know right. 
Ondreaz: So you plan this amazing date all for me?
Luna: No, for us. It’s my first date and I want to remember it well.
Ondreaz: Your first date? 
Luna: Yeah, and yes in my culture we date. I was going to do it but then my friend got in a relationship. I watched her heart break and I was scared. So I didn’t date, until now.
Ondreaz: Why now? Why me?
Luna: This is my first time away from my parents and twin brother. Everyday here is a risk, what’s another one?
Ondreaz: I’m glad you took the risk. Ondreaz interlocked his fingers with mine and we stared at the stars. We got back into the car and drove home. I walked Ondreaz to his door. 
Ondreaz: What happens at the end of the date in the movies?
Luna: The lights flicker saying that the dad is watching. You leave but there will be a second date. Ondreaz takes one step closer to me and my heart starts beating so hard, I’m sure he can hear it. Then there is a knock from inside Tony and Ondreaz’s room. I lean my head into Ondreaz’s chest with a sigh. 
Ondreaz: I’m going to kill him. You laugh and Ondreaz wraps his arms around you. He releases you and walks inside his room. You can hear them talking through the door.
Ondreaz: Seriously dude?! Why are you all waiting for me?
Tony: How was your date? 
Ondreaz: Honestly it was awesome. You hear the boys cheer and you walk away to your room. 

You open up your door and there they are Avani, Dixie, Addison and Charli all staring at you. I close the door behind me.
Charli: How was it? 
Luna: It was so amazing. The girls scream.
Dixie: Speak now or else. 
Luna: He loved the race track and we talked so much. It was like everytime he laughed or looked at me and smiled it made me feel I don’t know. 
Avani: That’s so sweet. 
Luna: Then he walked up closer to me and my heart started beating super fast and I don’t know why. 
Dixie: He was going to kiss you! Aww you got nervous. 
Avani: Did you want him to kiss you?
Luna: Yes… no… yes because I really like him no because I don't know.
Avani: It happens naturally. If you don’t know how, trust me he’ll teach you. 
Luna: Oh I know how to. 
Dixie: Okay, Luna! The girls all laugh. 
Luna: Okay now that the interrogation is over I need to call my family and go to sleep.
The girls all get up and walk out. I change into these. 



My phone rings right on time. 
Sol: Hi little sis.
Luna: You're only older by five minutes. Mama and dad are not feeling too well but Estrella and Xanai.
Estrella: Hi aunty Luna
Luna: My precious little girl. 
Xanai: She just learned how to say that today. I haven’t seen you in the longest, I miss you.
Luna: So do I but the queen must have so much to do.
Xanai: Most of the work. The King is just a pretty face. She kissed his cheek. 
Luna: I don’t know about pretty but.. Sol starts laughing. 
Sol: Okay that’s enough can I talk to my sister please?
Xanai: Bye Luna. Continue to enjoy your adventure. Estrella waved goodbye as Xanai took her up and walked out. 
Sol: So what’s been going?
Luna: Everyone here is so nice. 
Sol: They better be, have your eye on anyone? I can never lie to my brother.
Luna: Si.
Sol: Even after our talk. Por que Luna? (Why Luna?)                        Luna: Because it just happened but I’m coming back. Yo prometo. (I promise)
Sol: Es no el problemo. (It’s not the problem) I don’t want to see your heartbroken. 
Luna: It is a risk but I’m going to make it through it no matter what. 
Sol: I hope you're right. I hear Estrella crying and screaming in the background.
Sol: Okay, someone is cranky and we need to get ready for some meetings. Deja que el fuego te guíe.
Luna: Let the fire guide you. I hung up the phone.

I go downstairs with my laptop and sd card. I start editing my video when someone comes downstairs. It’s Ondreaz. I watch him walk into the kitchen and open the fridge. I sneak behind the fridge door and when he closed it…. He screamed. 
Ondreaz: Where did you even come from?
Luna: My mom says heaven, my twin says hell. 
Ondreaz: Like a lucifer situation or… I laugh and playfully punch him. I then sit on top of the counter.
Luna: What are you doing up? 
Ondreaz: Just awake, needed a snack. What about you? 
Luna: Editing a video. 
Ondreaz: I think you need a break. 
Luna: You don’t even know how long I’ve been down here.
Ondreaz: Doesn’t matter, have you ever had ice cream?
Luna: Yes, my papa makes the best.
Ondreaz: So you know what a sundae is?
Luna: Yes.
Ondreaz: This is going to be the best sundae of your life. Guaranteed. Ondreaz made a banana fudge sundae. 
Luna: Presentation is lovely but I can’t eat it. I’m allergic to chocolate. Ondreaz hangs his head.
Luna: That’s okay, it was very sweet of you to try. He walked up closer to me and it happened again. My heart was racing and I panicked. I quickly grabbed him in for a hug. His arms wrapped around my waist as I held him close and tight. I let him go, 
Luna: Thank you that was so sweet. Even if you almost killed me. Ondreaz laughed. 
Tony shouts downstairs.
Tony: Ondre. Where are you with my chips?!
Luna: I think you have to go. 
Ondreaz: I guess I do. Our date tomorrow at three. 
Luna: Why so early?
Ondreaz: Yes, I’m topping you.
Luna: With what? Why would you put food on me?
Ondreaz: Did I mention you are adorable? Ondreaz smiled and walked away. 

Diary I don’t know what he does to me. He likes me and I like him. Is he falling as quickly as I am? I hope he is. Why do I feel this way? I’m so scared maybe I should pull back? Let’s be honest I couldn’t even if I tried. What have I gotten myself into in less than 72 hours. I wish I could go to sleep but goodnight diary.
