Thirty-Seventh Chapter

Dear Diary, 

The photoshoot was so much fun today. We were all together laughing and being ourselves. I took photos with everyone. We all took the pictures and after we hung out. Then later that evening I was in my room editing. Ondreaz and Avani knocked on the door.
Luna: Come in.
Avani: Hey baby we came to see how you’re doing?
Luna: I’m fine just editing a video.
Ondreaz: We also wanted to talk to you about Victoria.
Luna: I’m pretty sure she doesn’t want to see me or hear from me.
Avani: Actually, all she wants to do is talk.
Luna: What? How do you know this?
Avani: I...umm…talked to her. I wanted to know why she exposed you instead of calling you. She said she was just upset that you pretended not to know her. 
Ondreaz: As your boyfriend and bestfriend we think you guys should link up.
Luna: I wouldn’t even know what to say or do.
Avani: We’re going to be there. She’s free in two hours. I can invite her here.
Luna: Let’s do it. Avani clapped her hands. 
Avani: I’m calling her right now. She walked out and Ondreaz sat down on the bed. He looked at me and I looked at him. Then I saved my edit and closed my laptop.  
Ondreaz: I know that face, what's up? He laid down leaning his head on his hand.
Luna: Just be here, please. I laid down very close to him and just looked at the wall. He put his arm around me and kissed my cheek.
Ondreaz: I’m here for as long as you need me. 

We laid there in silence for a while. Then I broke the silence. 
Luna: I have waited for this moment for so long and as selfish as it may seem I don’t want it anymore. I don’t want to hear how much hurt and pain I caused her. 
Ondreaz: You’re not selfish, you’re scared. I turn to him confused. 
Luna: Scared?
Ondreaz: Scared that she’s going to tell you how much pain she felt. The pain you caused. Scared she’s not going to forgive you. Scared to face your past.
Luna: I think you’re right. Before I thought that losing a boyfriend was nothing but if that happened to me right now. I would be so broken. If you were ripped from, I would lose it. 
Ondreaz: I don’t know how she made it through that. She must be really strong.
Luna: Or stubborn like her father. I laughed. I lightly ran my fingers through his hair.
Ondreaz: Want to talk about last night more?
Luna: No, Victoria’s visit is enough past talk for me. We have some time before she comes, want to go for a walk?
Ondreaz: Yeah definitely. I got up and helped him up as well. We went for a walk for about an hour and just talked about random things.

Then it was time to go and face my past. Victoria was here in my bed and we were talking. I explained to her what happened.
Victoria: No that's not what happened? I thought you thought I was trying to get at your father. Which I guess is my father now? Sorry this is a lot to take in all at once. 
Luna: I know but I’m not going to use this as an excuse for all of the pain and hurt I’ve caused you. You were only sixteen. You didn’t deserve that and I’m genuinely sorry for all I’ve put you through. 
Victoria: And you were only seventeen. I’m not excusing everything you did but we handle things differently. I can’t tell you what I would have done if that was me. I forgive you because you actually got me to where I am. 
Luna: What?
Victoria: After everything that happened my biological mother felt so bad she paid for my way to come here and go through university. As you know because of the photographic memory I went through that in a year and had little jobs here. Then I started posting on tik tok and blew up. If it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t be living my best life honestly.
Luna: Wow and what about Kevin?
Victoria: I truly loved him but he was an alcoholic. His father had damaged him before you did. 
Luna: I didn’t help though. 
Victoria: We have actually been talking and we’re great friends. He has taken over as Duke but loves it more than he thought he could ever.
Luna: Yeah, he works with Sol. They couldn’t be closer but I never bring you up. Wait you’re not mad?
Victoria: It only angered me when you didn’t talk to me. Made me feel like you thought what happened was okay. 
Luna: I just freaked out and didn’t want to face the past. I'm sorry.
Victoria: Thank you and you are forgiven. What I ask of you is that if we can be friends?
Luna: Seriously, you’re my sister. I would love nothing more than to be friends with you.
Victoria: Sister? Which makes Sol my brother, I have siblings! 
Luna: And a niece Estrella.
Victoria: You mean that even though blood does not bound us.
Luna: Love is what binds us. Let’s be friends and learn to love each other as siblings. 
Victoria: I agree. We hugged. Everything is okay Diary. The moment I have been dreading is actually one of the best moments in my life but back to my sister. I have a sister! (Besides Xanai of course)
Victoria: So tell me about you. I want to know everything about you. 

We talked for hours about the past three years. It was just like old times. Then Ondreaz walked in. 
Ondreaz: Just making sure there is no fighting and everyone is alive.
Victoria: This nigga. I laughed.
Luna: Come in babe. You guys had an awful first meeting. 
Victoria: I wonder why? We both laughed. 
Luna: Victoria, this is my boyfriend, Ondreaz. 
Victoria: Do you treat my sister with the love and respect that she deserves?
Ondreaz: I can never give her everything she deserves but I try my best. He walks over to me putting his arms around my neck.
Victoria: So you’re not a hookup? It’s truly been too long.
Luna: Okay Ondre you can leave. Why does my family like to talk about past relations? 
Victoria: We never thought we would see the day. Ondreaz kissed me and walked out. 
Victoria: We need to set the record straight on the internet. You’ve been silent for too long.
Luna: Should I record a video?
Victoria: Can you edit it and post it by tomorrow?
Luna: We can do a raw video or very minimum editing. 
Victoria: Okay, I have an hour left until I have to go home because I’m supposed to be meeting up with my manager. I’m going back to Miami in like seven hours. Let’s get this done. You can’t have two successful siblings and then slack. Victoria is so funny I forgot how much fun it was laughing with her. We filmed the video and basically vaguely explained that we had a rough past, that she is my sister and we’re going to be moving forward trying to grow our relationship. She left but we exchanged numbers and this will not be the last time we speak.
