I was wearing my white simple dress in a yacht as I stare at Janine. We're in another event. But this time, it's way simpler.

It's a congratulatory party for the architect who had a successful project in Amsterdam. Ngayon lang nakapag celebrate dahil pare-parehas silang busy nitong nakaraan.

"Judge," she greeted the girl in tight black jeans and navy bule shirt.

"I got the invitation," she said.

"Do you have an appointment next week?" I felt Janine's arm snaked around me. "It'll be glad if you're there."

"I already cancelled an appointment. You know how important you are to me."

"Congratulations," she gave me a sweet smile before excusing herself.

It's a  not so warm afternoon.

There’s something about the way the wind brushes against me when I’m standing on a yacht, surrounded by endless water.

Every time it blows my way, it sends a chill through me. Not just because of the cold, but because it feels like a quiet reminder that something in my life is starting to shift.

I can’t explain it clearly, but the wind almost feels alive, like it knows something I haven’t fully grasped yet.

I just stood there for a while, letting it wrap around me, eyes on the horizon, trying to hold onto the feeling.

"Aren't you excited for the wedding?" Janine, holding a beer in can, asked me.

"I am." Nginitian ko siya at hinarap. "I can't even wait any longer." Dagdag ko sa naunang sinabi.

"After our wedding, within twenty four hours, it will be registered legal. Sambit niya.

"It's not as if I don't want to be yours. I can't fall any deeper, Janine.

As time pass by, mas lumamig ang ihip ng hangin. We are near an island.

Though walang napag usapan na bababa kami, it excites me to see an island even just from here. It's good to unwind with the help of all these.

Janine was whispering her love reminders and plans when Aubrey suddenly went to us. Almost breathless.

The judge in early 50's look at us as if she wants to say something important but for some reason, she couldn't.

"Yoona," Aubrey went closer.

Even Janine got worried by the way she's looking at me.

"Nandito sina Mommy-La. They were looking for you. Ate Catherine messaged me for a heads-up. They were talking on how to stop your wedding. I could clearly tell that Aubrey was panicking.
