Tatsuo's POV

Ever since my encounter with Hayasaka in the cafeteria, I've been eating in there more. One day when I came in, Hayasaka looked interested in my Bento box.

"Hey, Tatsuo-kun, how does your Bento taste?" She asked me.

"Meh, I don't know how to explain it. Do you want a taste?"

"Sure, how bad can it be?"

"I didn't even make it! My younger sister did!"

"You have a younger sister?!"

"Yeah, is that a bad thing?"

"No, I'm just surprised she didn't kick you out of the house yet."

"Imouto would never do that!"

"Imouto?" Oh no, I said Imouto. Hayasaka is going to tease me all day long about this if I don't cover it up.

"Well, I don't call her Imouto. It just slipped from my tongue.

"It slipped from your tongue?"

"Yeah!  She also definitely doesn't have a brother complex either!"

"Your sister has a brother complex!?" I've said too much. I said way too much. I'm going to go commit seppuku.

"Come on Tatsuo-kun! Tell me more about her!"

"Didn't you want to try my Bento?" I said changing the topic.

"Your Bento probably tastes gross. Looks can be deceiving."

"Fine, if you insist... I'll just eat it all by myself." As I was eating, I noticed that Hayasaka stared intently at me like she was waiting for me to offer her a bite. It seems she's too proud to accept food from me. It's her loss anyways. I'll just keep on eating because that's what men do.

Hayasaka's POV

Tatsuo-kun is so harsh! I really want to try his Bento! But if I asked that would be the same as a confession! Wait... Is this how Kaguya-sama thinks? Tatsuo-kun didn't even spare me a glance. How am I supposed to try it without requesting it?

"Yo, Hayasaka, aren't you going to eat?" Tatsuo-kun asked me. Wait, this is the perfect opportunity to make him give me it!

"It's just that I've been eating the same thing over and over again. I really want to try something new." There! Any reasonable man would offer me something to try! [Against Hayasaka's calculations, Shirou Tatsuo is not a reasonable man. Even though he is incredibly bright on a sheet of paper, in the real world he quite lacks common sense.]

"Wow, that sucks for you Hayasaka." Tatsuo-kun said. NANI!? How could he be so cruel?! He didn't even tell me to buy something else tomorrow! He just said it sucks for me!

Tatsuo's POV

Oh crap! I hope I didn't hurt her feelings! [Just like Shirogane, Tatsuo is physically unable to hurt someone's feelings.] Gosh! I'll really messed up here! Maybe she would like to try some of my lunch.

"Hey, Hayasaka, would you like to try some of my lunch?" I offered. Her face lit up with excitement.

"Yes, totally!"

"Huh?"

"I mean, sure."

I handed Hayasaka my bento box and hoped for the best. Hayasaka ate some of the ramen noodles that were in there. Then there was silence. Then she gobbled it all down without hesitation leaving no more for me. Welp, I'm going to die of starvation and it's all her fault. Also she didn't eat it the right way. Chika would've eaten it correctly.

"You liked it! I told you it wasn't gross!"

"No, I loathe it."

"Huh? Then why did you eat all of it? I'm going to starve you know."

"It's good manners, isn't it?"

"... I guess."

"Then it's all good!" No it's not. I'm still hungry, starving if you could put it. Heck, I'm dying. [Tatsuo is just like Sakura Hibiki but fit.]
