TYLER
I can't believe she didn't tell me. Apparently everybody else knows. I had to hear from Evan, for fuck's sake. It's not like we didn't have any alone time during the weekend. She told her friends before the meet but couldn't bother to tell me before or after we fucked in her car.
I was so busy with the meet and work that I didn't even open my letter before this morning. Nobody knows yet.
I have to tell her. This complicates things. I can't believe this is happening. I sign, letting my head fall between my hands. I pick up my phone with a scowl and send her a text saying I need to talk to her.
Her response comes a second later.
Nora: Is that our code for sex now?
I can't help the grin that forms on my lips. Always horny, it seems.
Me: I like how you think, but not this time.
Nora: Bummer. I'm in no mood for talking.
Me: Wait by your car.
Nora: Nah.
I take a deep breath and release it. Why is she being so difficult?
Me: Seriously?
Nora: I'm already running late. Besides, we have nothing to talk about.
Me: Yes, we do.
Nora: Not today. Bad day.
Me: I don't care.
She sends me an emoji flipping me off. Real mature, I roll my eyes.
Me: I'll come find you at school.
Nora: We have a sex deal. It doesn't include talking.
Me: It does now.
Nora: You can't change the rules.
Me: Watch me.
She doesn't answer after that, probably too pissed at me. Well, too bad but she just has to get over it, because we are talking today, whether she wants to or not.

NORA
"I need to talk to you" Tyler basically growls in my ear, interrupting my conversation with Lexie on our way to class. His chest presses against my arm, heat searing into me. "Now."
"Can't it wait?" I ask, annoyed at his rude behavior. I don't like to be bossed around, especially so early in the morning. And it doesn't help that I'm still in a sour mood after seeing dad the day before. "I'm kinda in the middle of something here. And in a hurry."
"I don't care."
Lexie looks between us curiously, no doubt wondering what's going on. I haven't told about my agreement with Tyler to anyone else but Olive — not because I don't trust my friends, which I do — but because I'm feeling a bit ashamed of myself for it. I mean, I'm basically like all the other girls who've fallen for his traps. Not exactly something I want to advertise.
"You're such an ass," I turn to him, annoyance coating my voice. I already told him I'm not in a mood for talking today. It doesn't help that I'm kind of afraid of what he's got to say. He's not going to end the agreement already, is he? I hate to admit it but sex with him is good. I'm not ready to give it up quite yet.
