Lisa's face lit up with a smile when Kuma bounded toward her, his tail wagging. She stooped to scoop him up and headed into the kitchen. However, her smile vanished upon seeing her wife engaged in a phone conversation. From Jennie's tone, Lisa could already guess the caller's identity. Leo rested on Jennie's lap, Walking to the refrigerator for water, Lisa sensed Jennie's gaze following her peripherally. Turning around, she was on the verge of leaving when Jennie spoke up.

Jennie hung up the phone call "Lisa, I'll be gone for three days." Lisa's expression became empty, yet inwardly, her frustrations began to build up gradually.

"And why's that? Business or something else?" she quipped sarcastically, fully aware of her wife's motives.

Jennie questioned, "Is it necessary for me to explain?"

"I am your wife, Jennie!" With each word she spoke, her jaw clenched tighter and tighter. Jennie locked eyes with Lisa steadily, conveying her firmness without saying a word.

Lisa forced a laugh. "You shouldn't bother to inform me if I'm not allowed to inquire your whereabouts." She was about to leave her but her hand instinctively found its way into her pocket.

"Do you even care about this?" Lisa remarked as she placed Jennie's ring on the table in front of her. Jennie gulped nervously as she gazed at her ring, appearing guilty.

"W-where did you get this?" she asked, to which Lisa responded with a bitter laugh.

"Kai- No, your boyfriend actually gave me that, he said you forgot it in his car, you should thank later... and you know what? Jen, if you couldn't bear wearing that ring, please, you could just leave it here..." Lisa turned away. "I'd be very grateful to receive a bit of respect from you...just a bit, Jen. It wouldn't hurt you, i swear." Lisa expressed her resentment, leaving Jennie by herself. Jennie irritably rubbed her face and promptly dialed Jongin.

"Hey bab-" she cut him off before he could finish.

"Why didn't you give me the ring instead?! Why do you have to give it to Lisa?! Have you even considered how she would feel?!"

"I'm sorry, okay?" Jennie hissed, her frustration evident.

"You're such a selfish, stupid person, Kai!" she knew it would hurt his feelings, but she didn't care. Kai lacked common sense.

"You know what, Kai? Forget about the trip! I'm not coming with you!!" she concluded, dropping the call. She panted heavily with anger, her eyes darting towards Lisa's door.

The following morning, Jennie woke up and exited her room, she noticed Lisa's room door was open but Lisa wasn't inside. She wondered why Lisa had left so early; it was only 7 in the mornig., which was highly unusual for Lisa, who typically didn't leave the house that early. She reached for her phone to call Lisa's secretary, but Kai's multiple texts and calls made her toss her phone back onto the bed. Since it was Sunday, Jennie decided to just stay at home. When the doorbell rang, she thought it was Lisa. However, it turned out to be Jisoo and Bambam, carrying plastic bags filled with various items

"Umh... unnie, if you're looking for Lisa, she's not here," Jennie said as she opened the door. Jisoo tilted her head and glanced at Bambam.

"But she wasn't in her office either," Bambam added.

"Do you know where she is?" Jisoo asked, shaking her head in response. "Of course you don't," Bambam murmured. However, Jennie still heard him but chose to ignore him. Bambam insisted on dialing Lisa's number when Mina spoke from a distance, together with Seulgi, which Jennie subtly rolled her eyes seeing the person she hates without any particular reason.
