Restlessness gripped Lisa after Irene's confession, making sleep elusive. She hadn't realized how long she'd been awake until Jisoo's concerned voice pierced through the morning light.
"Lisa? Are you still up?" Jisoo's shocked expression at Lisa's disheveled appearance was unmistakable as she stood in the doorway.
"Good morni- What happened to you?" Jisoo's concern was palpable as she took in Lisa's dark-circled eyes. Lisa, equally curious, rushed to the mirror.
"Oh my god, Lisa! Are you on drugs or something?" Jisoo's worry turned to alarm.
"What?! No, I'm not!" Lisa defended herself, feeling a bit paranoid under Jisoo's intense scrutiny.
"What happened then?" Jisoo asked, her relief evident as Lisa explained, "I haven't slept, that's all." Jisoo sighed deeply, visibly relieved. "Anyway, are you leaving now?" Lisa asked, noticing Jisoo was fully dressed.
"Yeah, I have an early morning appointment with an investor... I'm still a bit sleepy, though," Jisoo admitted with a chuckle as Lisa stepped behind her to give a light shoulder massage.
"Drink three cups of coffee to boost your energy," Lisa suggested mischievously, earning a stern glare from Jisoo.
"The worst idea I've ever heard!" Jisoo rolled her eyes playfully. "I've gotta go now."
"Take care!" Lisa called after her, receiving a casual wave in response.
As Lisa turned to head back inside, she heard an insistent bark from Dalgom. "Well, good morning to you too, Grumpy Dalgom. What did I do now?" she teased him.
"You must be hungry," Lisa mused, heading to the kitchen to feed him. "You're just like your mom when you're hungry."
Breakfast was a quiet affair, Lisa's culinary skills limited to pouring cereal and milk due to Jisoo's lack of stocked chocolates. Mid-bite, her thoughts drifted back to the conversation with Irene.
"She likes me and I didn't even notice! How dense are you, Lisa?" Lisa scolded herself, her appetite suddenly waning.
To combat her growing boredom, Lisa decided to take Dalgom for a walk. "Dalgomie, let's be cool today, and I'll give you a treat after," she promised, fastening his collar.
They strolled to the nearby mini park, where Lisa sat on a bench, savoring the tranquility. A few others were there, enjoying the morning calm. Lisa closed her eyes, letting her body relax...
"Excuse me?" A soft, feminine voice interrupted Lisa's reverie. She leisurely opened her eyes, adjusting her seat to see a woman standing beside her.
