IS IT TIME FOR ME TO GIVE UP?

Jennie's POV:

I woke up early 'another day' as what I've been saying to myself since i got married.. no! what i mean is since we're 'forced' to get married. I still couldn't believe she let this stupid thing happen to me.. To us.. well.. what would i expect? she has feelings for me, Kai already told me back then but i didn't believe him at first thinking that'll be his only way to make me stay away from Lisa..

Lisa and Kai are rivals.

Kai is one of our childhood friends but not until Lisa accidentally steps on his favorite wrist watch reason to get it broken which is given by his father and as Kai's revenge she burned one of Lisa's favorite shirt since then their wrangle has began.

Kai's father is also not in good terms with our Father. Why? Business conflict i guess. After they found out that Lisa and I made friends with Kai they told us to abruptly order us to stay away from him. Yet, We were unexpectedly enrolled in the same school causing  Kai and I have become friends again however as the time goes by the hatred between Lisa and kai for each other worsen even after we graduated. The day before our wedding someone has told me that Kai has been sent to london by his parents for their business and i heard nothing more about him after that.

I don't know how long i've been staring at my ceiling when i heard a rustling sound outside my door, I walked towards there and opened my door lightly to check it, I sighed in relief when i saw Kai (my dog) together with leo,luca and lily sitting at my door. i wonder where kuma is?

"why my babies?" Kai wagged his tail happily while looking at me, I checked the time and was shocked because it's already 8am 'They're probably hungry right now' I carried Leo and Kai because Lily and Luca were already in the kitchen.

I was about to walk past Lisa's bedroom when i heard her groaning, might because of the hangover. i just ignored her.. its her fault anyway, i continued to walk towards the kitchen when i saw lily and luca standing in front of their bowl waiting for me to pour some in there.

After feeding them i then walked towards the coffee maker to make myself a coffee then i heard Lisa giggled from distance. She didn't notice me as she stopped in front of the mirror with kuma in her arm.

"My handsome baby, hmm??" she baby talked to kuma.

Is she still drunk? My eyes automatically scanned her clothes and noticed she wasn't wearing the same clothes from last night.

"You hungry??-" she was still talking to kuma and still didn't notice my presence. After a few seconds she looked up our eyes met makes her stunned at her place.

"G-Goodmorning?" she greets me stutter.

I didn't say anything and just took my cup, walked past her, I've decided to drink my coffee at my room instead. I still don't have any plans for talking to her.

I'm done bathed and applied make up as walked out of my room. Lisa's sitting with kuma on her lap.

'Kuma already loves Lisa that much huh?'

"Are you leaving?" she asked "Isn't it obvious?" as usual I sarky answered.

"Yeah-im sorry-" I've just had my first step away from her when she spoke hesitantly.

" Uh, m-my dad and your parents invited us for dinner" I huffed to what she said and turned to look at her again.

"Am I allowed to refuse? no, right?  as if i have the choice when to agree  and disagree " Lisa put her head down made me snort  "I'll be home at 6pm"  after that i irritably walked away and get in my car

When I reached the company, I started signing all the papers on my table when my phone vibrated indicating I received a message and it's from Lisa.

sorry for disturbing you but may i ask where'd you put kuma's food?

I was frowning reading it. 'she's fooling me, isn't she?'  I ignored her message and was supposed to put my phone down yet 'oh! I forgot! I actually poured everything in Kai's bowl' shit! I hurriedly texted her secretary instead about that. Whenever I have something not that important need to address or discuss with her, I'd rather go directly to her secretary.

I'm finally done with all the paper work and ready to go home and oh, it's 5pm, I realized that it was too early which i decided to pass by at the coffee shop and ordered espresso and doughnuts. I stayed til 5:30pm to finish everything i ordered.

I entered our house and saw lisa sitting with choco drink in her hand busy watching frozen with the cats and dogs beside her 'Still childish' I murmured and walked straight into my room to change my clothes.

I only picked a plain white shirt and jeans.

I would've been sleeping at this time, I could eat alone tho but nevermind. I was fixing my earrings when I saw just walked out of her room, my eyes went straight to what she's wearing.

A plain white shirt and jeans too. Great.

I guessed she already knew the reason why she's being scrutinized. She gulped.

"oh! i-im sorry jennie.. I dont-" she tried explaining "I'll just change" she's about to go back to her room but I stopped her, it's already 7pm.

"We're gonna be late" she looked at me first "Yeah, right" Lisa stride ahead me. she was about to open the door for me but I immediately grabbed the other side of the door handle."Know that I can do that for myself" she then quickly release her hand from it and get into driver's seat instead.
