Third Person's POV"Hurry up, Unnie, triple your speed if necessary!" Lisa's urgent command echoed from the back seat, startling Bambam into a nervous chuckle. Lisa's glare made him falter. "I, uh, sorry," he mumbled, scratching his neck sheepishly.
Jisoo, behind the wheel, was sweating despite the air conditioning. She felt a pang of guilt for going along with Seulgi's impulsive plan, especially considering its potential impact.
"At least try to calm down, Lisa," Jisoo suggested, trying to diffuse the tension.
Lisa managed to compose herself slightly, though her nerves were still on edge. "This idea you two had was terrible! Absolutely terrible!" she exclaimed, her frustration evident. She lowered her voice as she continued, focused on her phone, oblivious to what they're talking about.
"It was Seulgi's idea," Bambam interjected defensively.
"You were with her, Bambam. You could've talked her out of it," Jisoo retorted, her voice tinged with annoyance.
Moments earlier, when Jisoo had received Seulgi's call, she had heard Bambam's laughter in the background. Suspicious, she had accused them of trying to pull a prank.
"Sooya, where are you? We're going to surprise Lisa, so you need to help us," Seulgi had explained with a mischievous smirk, attempting to convince Jisoo.
"No, I know you two! Stop messing around," Jisoo had replied sarcastically, rolling her eyes in annoyance.
"We're serious this time. I promise it'll make her happy," Seulgi had insisted. Jisoo had glanced at Lisa, who was innocently munching on her food, and reluctantly agreed to play along, drawing on her acting skills.
Now, as Jisoo drove, she glanced at Lisa, who seemed lost in worry, oblivious to their destination—her coffee shop.
"We're here," Jisoo announced as she turned off the engine. Lisa, still preoccupied, almost stumbled out of the car before freezing in awe as she recognized the familiar surroundings of her coffee shop.
She turned to see Bambam and Jisoo behind her, and then Seulgi emerging from the shop. "LALISA!" Seulgi cried out, rushing over to envelop Lisa in a warm embrace. Jisoo and Bambam joined in, creating a brief moment of shared relief and happiness.
"Your safe haven is back, Lisa!" Jisoo murmured softly as they hugged. "I'm sure your mom would be happy up there," Bambam added, his voice filled with sincerity.
Inside, Jisoo hung back momentarily, exchanging a silent "thank you" with Jennie, who observed from her car. Joining her friends inside, Jisoo watched with satisfaction as Lisa's face lit up with joy, her eyes scanning every corner of the place.
"But how?" Lisa finally managed to ask, her expression a mix of confusion and wonder.
"Let's not dwell on that now. We have to celebrate!" Seulgi exclaimed, gesturing to the bottles of soju she had set out on a table.
Seulgi moved to pour drinks for everyone, but Lisa gently stopped her. "I thought you were really in an accident. I'm just glad you're safe, Seulg," Lisa said softly, causing Seulgi to blush and look away. "Yah, Lalisa! Stop being so sweet! But... thank you," she replied with a playful wink.
"Lisa almost gave me a heart attack earlier," Bambam complained in mock exasperation, earning a laugh from Lisa. "Sorry, okay!" she apologized with a grin.
"Apology accepted," Bambam replied, still teasing.
Meanwhile, Jisoo was pleased to see Seulgi had also brought an assortment of fried chicken to accompany their soju.
