Lisa's POV:

I sat in the coffee shop, waiting for Kim Jisoo, whom I hadn't seen in ages. She insisted on meeting up, citing she missed our old hangouts. Jisoo, Jennie, and I used to be inseparable in college, part of the same close-knit group. But ever since Jennie and I got married, she distanced herself from everyone, including our friends.

As I sipped my choco coffee and nibbled on a croissant, I spotted Jisoo entering, a traffic cone-shaped beanie perched on her head. I couldn't help but laugh, earning a scowl from her.

"What's so funny, Manobal?" Jisoo asked, sliding into the seat opposite me

"What's so funny, Manobal?" Jisoo asked, sliding into the seat opposite me.

"That beanie... does Dalgomie live in there?" I teased, still chuckling as I gestured to the odd headwear.

Jisoo smirked. "And what about you? Did you hide one of your cats under that thick bangs of yours?"

I rolled my eyes playfully, but the banter eased the tension that had settled between us.

"So... how's married life?" Jisoo ventured cautiously.

"Nothing new," I replied tersely, not wanting to delve into the complexities of my relationship with Jennie.

"It's been two years..." Jisoo added softly, sensing my reluctance to discuss it further. Thankfully, she changed the subject before I could shut down completely.

"Let's swing by Seulgi's place later? What do you say?" Jisoo proposed with a mischievous glint in her eyes.

"Seriously? It's only 10 AM, too early for that," I protested, knowing exactly where Jisoo was leading us.

"I'm not talking about drinking, Lisa!" Jisoo laughed. "Let's visit Seulgi and see what trouble we can stir up at her bar."

"Fine, Kim Jisoo," I sighed, giving in to her playful insistence. Her triumphant smile told me we were likely to end up at Seulgi's bar before the day was over.

Jisoo's POV:

I missed these carefree moments with Lisa, even though our group was incomplete without Jennie. Sometimes, it felt like a distant memory to be able to do anything without worrying about work schedules or responsibilities.

"SEULGIII!" Lisa's sudden shout startled me as we entered Seulgi's house. Clumsy Seulgi—nicknamed Clum-Seulgi—accidentally spilled coffee on Lisa's pad Thai while serving us. Lisa's reaction was priceless, her bangs seemingly poised to strangle poor Seulgi.

"I didn't mean it!" Seulgi protested, trying to defend herself.

"It's just an accident, Lisa," I chimed in, trying to diffuse the tension.

"Look at my pad Thai!" Lisa exclaimed, clearly annoyed.

"How about this?" Seulgi interrupted, her tone conciliatory. "I'll treat you to drinks at my bar tonight. How does that sound?"

Lisa sighed heavily, but eventually relented. I exchanged a knowing look with Seulgi—her tactic of appeasing Lisa with her famous Seulgi Beer was predictable yet effective.

"Of course, that's your solution, bribe her with your beers, 'Seulgi Beer!'" Lisa retorted sarcastically.

"Excuse me? I also have an impressive selection of expensive wines, Ms. Manobangs," Seulgi shot back with a playful grin.

Lisa mockingly reached for her phone. "I'm going to tell Jennie."

Seulgi and I exchanged amused glances. We both knew Jennie wouldn't bat an eye. "Until when are you going to keep this up, Lisa?" I wondered silently as Lisa excused herself to the bathroom.

Later at the Bar:

The afternoon turned into evening as more friends joined us at Seulgi's bar—Bambam, Yoongi, Jungkook, Jeongyeon, Joy, and Nayeon. Laughter and banter filled the air, a stark contrast to the earlier tension.

"Guys, I miss this!" Joy exclaimed loudly, raising her tequila glass.

We all joined in, toasting to our reunion amidst the lively music that drowned Joy's boisterous laughter. I glanced over at Lisa, who was laughing freely now, her earlier frustrations momentarily forgotten. Despite everything, I was glad to see her relaxed and happy among friends.

"How have you all been?" I asked, breaking the brief lull in conversation. The responses were a mix of anecdotes and jokes, each person sharing their own slice of life.

Yoongi, typically quiet, was surprisingly animated in his responses, prompting Jungkook to tease him relentlessly. Lisa's laughter echoed through the bar, a sound that brought a smile to my face. For a moment, it felt like old times.

As the night wore on and the drinks flowed freely, I noticed Jungkook stealing glances at Lisa. It wasn't a secret that he had a crush on her since college, though Lisa had never reciprocated his feelings.

"Hey, Lisa," Jungkook finally mustered the courage to speak up. "Do you remember that time..."

Before he could finish his sentence, Joy's antics stole the spotlight again, diverting everyone's attention. The night continued with more laughter and shared memories, a reminder of the bond we all shared despite the passage of time.

**After Closing Time:**

By 1 AM, most of us were thoroughly intoxicated, except for me, who had surreptitiously poured out half my drinks. As we prepared to leave, I realized Lisa was in no state to drive herself home.

"Let me drive you," Jungkook offered gallantly, but I stepped in firmly.

"No, Kookie, I'll take her," I insisted, guiding Lisa to my car. Seulgi assured me that one of her staff would drive Lisa's car back to her house.

We arrived at Lisa's house safely, but it was already 3 AM by the time we got there. I rang the doorbell repeatedly, hoping Jennie would answer. When she did, her annoyance was evident as she saw me helping Lisa inside.

"Why don't you use your..." Jennie started to say, trailing off when she saw me guiding Lisa. Her expression hardened, but she stepped aside to let us in.

As I led Lisa to what Jennie had called "her room," I couldn't help but notice the distance between them. It was clear they weren't sharing a room, which struck me as odd for a married couple.

"Lisa's room is across from mine, Unnie," Jennie stated matter-of-factly, her tone devoid of warmth.

After settling Lisa in, I turned to leave but stopped Seeing Jennie entering her room.

"Where are you going?" I asked, "Lisa's drunk, Jennie. Aren't you going to take care of her?" I asked pointedly.

Jennie scoffed. "She's not a child anymore, and I have work tomorrow. Excuse me, I need to sleep."

Disappointed by Jennie's response, I cleaned Lisa up as best as I could before leaving her alone. Despite everything, Lisa was like a little sister to me, and I couldn't help but worry about her.
