Lisa's Pov:
Wincing in pain, I awaken from a brutal hangover, my hand instinctively clutching at my throbbing head. It feels as though my skull might burst, and the whole situation is just awful. Blinking my eyes open, I notice someone standing before me.
"Coffee might ease your hangover," I tried not to get my hopes up about my wife taking care of me, knowing it will never really happen.
"Thanks, Mina," I mumbled gratefully, reaching for the coffee she's offering. Glancing down, I realize I'm now dressed in different clothes, undoubtedly courtesy of Seulgi.
"Wait, what time is it?" I asked Mina, massaging my forehead.
"It's 11 am," Jisoo said as she emerged from the kitchen. I wouldn't be surprised if Bambam were here too.
"This is so good," and just as I said it, Bambam appeared out of nowhere, munching on something.
"What's that?" I inquired when a tantalizing aroma caused my stomach to growl.
"Oh, this? Your wife cooked this. It's kinda like tomato soup or something," Bambam casually replied. My eyes widened in surprise—not at the tomato soup, but at the fact that Jennie Kim cooked. Well, she's good at it, but I never expected her to do so.
"Did she really cook that?" I asked, still
"Yeah, you don't know how to cook, do you? So, it means your wife did," Bambam replied, clearly making a jab at me.
"I was also surprised, just like you, Lisa," Jisoo interrupted. Maybe this isn't a big deal for Jennie, but for me, it is. Seulgi mentioned that when he gets here, Jennie will be leaving. That's even more confusing—she was able to cook before she left. I tried to piece together last night, but it only ade my head hurt even more.
"Lisa, do you remember what you did last night?" Seulgi asked with a sardonic smile as she sat next to me, her arm draped over my shoulder. I could already sense that I had done something wrong, and my suspicions were confirmed when her expression darkened after I inquired about my actions.
"Well... you got drunk and then you threw up inside my bar! And to top it off, you just disappeared without so much as a 'bye' or anything! Do you have any idea how worried I was that night?! I called you several times, but you didn't answer!" I instinctively covered my ears with my pillow as her voice began to rise.
"But you're lucky, though, because Jennie picked up my call and said you were home already. Because if not? I might have killed you now," she continued, now speaking in a calm tone. I desperately wanted to piece together what exactly happened, but this hangover was relentless. When I asked Seulgi for further details, she admitted she had no idea either.
I noticed Mina's silence; she seemed to be lost in thought. I couldn't help but wonder why. I asked her if she was okay, and although she insisted she was, I remained unconvince"You guys didn't even invite us," Bambam said playfully, grousing in the corner.
"We actually invited Jisoo," I replied. Jisoo, Seulgi, and I laughed when he stomped his foot like a kid while whining.
While we were having fun, even though Mina was smiling, I knew something was bothering her. And I was right when she leaned closer and whispered in my ear, saying that she wanted to talk to me. We excused ourselves for a while, and I followed her to the kitchen, where I saw her fidgeting with her fingers.
"Lisa... please don't be mad at what I'm going to say," she said, obviously anxious.
"I'm not, unless you're going to say that one of the cats has escaped," I joked, trying to lighten her mood. I felt relieved when she smiled a bit, but she quickly became serious again, and so did I.
