Chat Noir frantically sped across the rooftops. This was not the akuma situation that happened enough for him to get used to. Marinette got targeted by akumas plenty of times, but rarely like this. Chat knew he had to get her out of there.

Chat looked around, hoping for some kind of sign. " Ladybug, where are you?" he whimpered under his breath. Chat never knew the reason why Ladybug was always so late when it came to saving Marinette.

Chat landed on top of an abandoned apartment building, scanning the area. He stopped as he heard a bit of a conversation, recognizing his own voice.

" I want to keep you forever, Marinette. You'll never know how much I love you. When we were together, you made my world spin." he purred in a sickly sweet voice to his captive.

Marinette had gotten herself trapped against a wall and the catlike villain, her arms pinned on either side of her. Without her earrings, she could only hope there was a catlike hero to save her.

Without Ladybug's strategies to keep his impulses in control, Chat Noir's hand shot up and came crashing down to the concrete of the roof with a yell of " CATACLYSM!" causing a part of it it to crumble beneath him.

Chat Blanc froze as the hero stood up behind him, staff raised and ready for a fight. He let out a beastly growl and turned around, brandishing his own staff. Rage seeped into him and murderous thoughts crowded his mind.

" Let her go!" Chat Noir demanded.

" Why? You can't stop me. You have five minutes left and it'll take Ladybug longer than that to find this place," the white cat smugly retorted. " You could have just used the window."

Chat had lost a bit of his confidence, but he decided not to let the supervillain get to his head. He was stalling for time. When his ring beeped, he pounced.

Chat Blanc lunged forward and took a swing, but Chat Noir's feet had just barely touched the ground, allowing him to dodge and land a hit on his spine. The enraged blur of white spun around in an attempt to bring his staff crashing down on the black cat's head. It was clear he was swinging to kill.

Marinette, knowing an opportunity when she saw one, quickly swung the door open and escaped into the hallway amid the sound of the catfight. She hid behind an empty shelf in case the victorious cat came looking for her.

Chat Noir's ring gave another beep. While his eyes had turned to his ring, Chat Blanc made another swing. The white staff collided in the space between the black cat's shoulder and neck, and he let out a yowl of pain. But, in a split second of adrenaline thinking, he grabbed the other staff in one hand and used the hand holding the staff to push him back.

Chat Blanc collided against a wall, now without his weapon. Chat Noir didn't let victory get to his head though, as the white cat shot forward, his claws barely missing his throat.

The white cat was determined to stain his hands red.
