As soon as the players get close to you your handing out water and towels, as well as congratulating them on their plays.

You drape a towel over Hajime's shoulders which he gives you a small smile at.

"Tooru." You hold out the captains water bottle. "I can read your face, what's wrong?"

He accepts the water bottle "Mr.Refreshing, ever since he got in the game, everyone's looking before they leap. Even that tiny number 10."

You tilt your head, "Mr. Refreshing?"

"Yeah that other setter."

"Oh! You mean Sugawara senpai!" A bright grin comes your face and Tooru grimaces.

"Yeah, everybody seems to do that when he gets in." Tooru places his hands on your shoulders "Tell me all his secrets Y/N."

You throw Tooru's towel in his face "Fuck off."

"Karasuno's attacks are way out there." You and Tooru both turn to Hajime who's talking with Matsukawa and Hanamaki. "Once we got ourselves in the mindset of number 10 and Kageyama's fast attack, being attacked normally like that really throws you off."

Matsukawa stops sipping from his water bottle to respond "You always end up watching number 10 too much."

"Iwa chan~, don't strain the few brain cells you have! You'll hurt your head."

Hajime kicks Tooru's shin sending him to the floor with a groan and Hanamaki catches his water bottle with a straight face. Rolling your eyes you walk away from Seijoh's chaotic third years and to the coach who's looking at Karasuno.

"Irihata sensei." You greet the older man.

He greets you with a nod. "We only scrutinized Kageyama during the practice game. Who knew they another solid setter on their team?"

You look at Suga with a smile "You'd know that if you hadn't made a requirement for Kageyama to be the setter the whole game when we played that practice match." You look to the coach who's looking at you with a dumbfounded look. You only shrug "Just saying."

"Y/N senpai!" Eh?

You turn to see the two first years, Kunimi as neutral as ever and Kindaichi frantically waving you over.

"Any tips you have to give us about the game?"

"Wha? Me?" You point to yourself with a dumbfounded look. Both of the first years nod and a small smile comes over your face "Well... I think your both playing a really good game, Kindaichi your jumping super high and Kunimi your blocks are super solid, you even managed to get a one touch on Karasuno's ace!"

Feeling a tickle in his nose, the ace of Karasuno, also known as Azumane Asahi let's out a sneeze.

A smile comes over Kunimi's face "Thank you Senpai."

A small blush comes over your face seeing your Kohai smile for the first time "Uwah~!" You clutch your jacket, right over your heart, and fall backwards, right onto Yahaba.

"Hey! Get off of me!"

"Yahaba i can't, Kunimi smiled at me and it knocked me right off my feet."

"Your just being dramatic, now get off before i scoot back and make you fall!"

Unbeknownst to you the Karasuno crows are looking at one of their precious managers looking like he's right at home with Seijoh. They don't like it, especially a setter by the name of Kageyama Tobio.

The whistle blowing brings everyone back to attention and sends you scrambling back to the sidelines.

It doesn't take you long to figure out Karasuno moved their rotation up while Aoba Johsai's is the same.

It doesn't become apparent why until Tooru serves again. Karasuno takes up a W receive formation Nishinoya and Daichi making up the points.

"They put the best receivers in the position to take Tooru's serves." You furrow your eyebrows and glance at coach Ukai out the side of your eye "We've never run this formation during practice before, Karasuno can't be that desperate to win the set? It's so risky..."

A hand reaches out and removes your thumb from your mouth, without noticing you'd begun to bite your thumb "Ah, thank you Mizoguchi sensei." The blond nods

"You should pay attention to the game Oikawa."

"Osu."

Doing as told you turn your focus back to the game to see your brothers already in the air, Tooru smacks the ball down and Daichi lunges left to receive it. The ball flies off Daichi's forearms and Suga sets the ball to Tanaka. Kindaichi and Kunimi jump up to block the ball but the ball manages to fall to the left of Kunimi's hand and falls to the ground earning Karasuno a point.

Seijoh and Karasuno battle it out for points the entire set. Honestly, this is still anyone's game.

Seijoh steals two points back to back and the way their blockers are moving your worry that Aoba Johsai is reading Suga's plays like an open book.

"Karasuno has been using their lefts a lot since they swapped their setter." Mizoguchi says to you and Irihata.

"That's because both of Karasuno's lefts are powerful." Irihata answers.

You hum "It's not only that." Both coaches look at you "It's also because they're easier for Sugawara senpai to deal with. He's know both Tanaka and Asahi longer than Hinata and Tsukishima so he knows what kind of balls they prefer and how to correctly toss to them, but," You watch as yet another ball get's blocked "He's too predictable."

Suga sets up a fast attack for Hinata but it was a bit slow so Kindaichi managed to swat it down. Coach Ukai calls Kageyama over and Suga sees what you see. Come on Sugawara senpai you have one more play left, please... Make it count!

The ball is served over to Karasuno's side and Daichi receives the ball before sending it over to Suga. Hinata jumps up as Suga sends the ball over to Asahi. The ace waste no time and with a powerful hit sends the ball over to Aoba Johsai's side. Kindaichi jumps with the hope of blocking the ball but has no luck as it smashes through his block and lands on his side of the court.

Karasuno took back a point.

The whistle blows, and like you thought. Kageyama's there holding up a placard with 2 on it.
