And Kyōtani has entered the c̶h̶a̶t̶ court.

You can see Karasuno's visible confusion and Nishinoya subtle glare. You can't help but smirk, if Nishinoya wants to fawn over spikes that are hard to receive then he can fawn for some of Kyōtani's.

Hajime serves the ball, him doing a jump serve that Daichi, once again, receives. Kageyama runs under the ball and with a call of Tanaka's name sends the ball in his Direction. Seijoh jumps to block the ball but gets a once touch, Watari sends the ball to Tooru.

Tooru intends to set the ball to Kindaichi but Kyōtani has his sights set on spiking the ball and pushes Kindaichi out of the way to spike the ball himself. The ball hit's the court before they can move and you can't help that evil smirk that grows seeing Nishinoya's dumbstruck face. However hearing the whistle blow your smirk fades into a thin line, it was out.

So close Kyōtani, but so far. You shrug seeing Kyōtani look around the court. At least Kyōtani didn't look too beat up about it.

Karasuno takes the first set.

You stand up from the bench and grab some towels watching as Hajime slams his fist onto the top of Kyōtani's head. It kinda makes you think of Suga's negativity begone hits. "What you did was dangerous!"

Tooru seems to have gained a shred of knowledge as to what to say as he squawks out agreements to Hajime "Right, right! That, that!" Like you said, shred of knowledge. "That needs to be said first!"

"Oh, I'm fine..." Kindaichi says, reassuring the air, because no one asked.

"I was feeling stressed because I hadn't been put in the match." Kyōtani explains to Hajime.

"That's not a reason at all!" Tooru butts in. You can't help but laugh watching the exchange.

Just when Seijoh takes their positions on the court Tooru turns to Kyōtani "You're more or less free to play how you want, but if you interfere with us you'll be back on the bench."

Kyōtani doesn't respond to Tooru and instead turns away from him entirely. Hajime steps up "Just don't make any needlessly dangerous plays." Hajime scolds.

Kyōtani nods at the third year "Right."

Tooru pops in, his annoyance obvious "Why do you only respond to Iwa chan!" He whines.

From the sidelines Yahaba gives a little sigh "That guy... He challenged Iwaizumi every chance he got, and lost each and every time, So other than Y/N Iwaizumi is like the only person Kyōtani obeys."

"What are we, a wolf pack?" Kunimi questions dryly.

"Well, the only person that actually uses him will be Oikawa, though." (Yahaba)

"Right." (Kunimi)

"Uh," Kindaichi shuffles over to the two "What did Y/N senpai do?"

Yahaba wearily looks over to you who's once again sitting next to the coaches, conversing with Irihata "No one but the two of them know. All anyone ever says of that day is that Y/N effectively put the fear of god into Kyōtani."

Kunimi looks at his friend "Shouldn't you be on the court?"

Kindaichi startles but nods none the less "Yeah!" And he rushes off.

The second set starts off with a serve from Asahi. The gentle ace doing a jump serve unfortunately it's out. With Karasuno getting an out ball it's Tooru's turn to serve, him doing the usual jump serve. But much like Asahi's serve, it's out.
