With Hinata and Kageyama arriving Karasuno finally won a set. Shinzen stares at Hinata and Kegeyama the two of them staring back although there was an air of seriousness around them.

"Don't be showing off, flunking tardy boys." Tanaka speaks up behind the two. And both Hinata and Kageyama look down.

You cover your smile with a fist and try to laugh as quietly as you can.

You walk over to Karasuno stopping at the trio of Hinata, Tanaka, and Nishinoya to give them their towels and water bottles, while Tanaka and Nishinoya talk about Ubugawa's serves you notice Hinata being surprisingly quiet.

You ruffle the first years head "Hey Hinata," The first year looks up at you curiously "You okay?"

Instead of answering you Hinata turns hearing Inuoka's call of Yaku's name.

Hinata's eyebrow's crease as his face morphs further in confusion "Huh? Inuoka's on the sidelines?"

Inuoka continues calling out encouragements but at Lev's name Hinata's eyes travel to the court only to widen at seeing Lev jumping through the air, his arm like a whip, before landing a hit on the ball that slams down on Ubugawa's side.

All of you just stare, Asahi letting out a breathless "wow..."

"That number 11..." You turn to look at Suga "At first glance, it's hard to tell because he's slouching, but he's pretty big. He might be over 6'3."

"His arms and legs are so long." Once again Asahi is impressed. "Who the heck is he?"

You whistle impressed before turning to the megan "Seems like you have some competition, Tsukki."

The blond only turns away from you towards Yamaguchi "I literally don't care."

You walk towards the restrooms with a sigh, for some reason you got shifted from Fukurodani to the managers rooms, the female managers rooms. Your literally the only guy there. Screw Yamamoto, Nishinoya, and Tanaka groveling at your feet anytime you give them a sliver of attention. If they found out you would be rooming with all the girls in the building they'd literally murder you.

You open the door, silently praying not to run into the female love sick trio, only to instead see two emerald eyes peering down at you. You let out a breath of relief.

Immediately the boys eyes widen and he points at you dramatically "You!"

"Well, hello to you too."

The silver haired male plows on like he hadn't heard you "Your that manager that Yamamoto's always talking about!"

You shrug with a little hum "Maybe, there's three of us now."

The silver haired male tilts his head as he lets out a sound of confusion "How'd you get three managers? We can't even get one..."

"Maybe it's a Miyagi thing? ...Actually," You pause thinking it over, Shiratorizawa doesn't have a manager either and neither does Aoba Johsai, faintly you remember Tooru saying something about a team they beat a little while ago, Jozenji? Having a female manager. "You know what, I don't know what volleyball teams do to get managers."

You two of you stare in silence at one another "I'm Oikawa Y/N, second year manager."

"Oh! Haiba Lev, you can just call me Lev! First year and ace of Nekoma!"

You raise an eyebrow, you know for a fact that Yamamoto is still the ace of Nekoma. "Shouldn't there be a future, in there somewhere?"Lev only looks at you confused. "Ah, whatever. I'm too old for this." You push past Lev to go further into the washroom.

The door slides open and silence ensues, you turn your head in confusion, Why didn't Lev ju-Oh. Hinata.

"Karasuno's number ten..."

"Japanese?" Hinata sounds almost confused.

Lev rest a hand on the back of his head "Oh, sorry, I can't speak russian." What does Victor— i mean russian have anything to do with this? "I was born and raised in Japan."

Hinata breathes a sigh of relief "I see!" Hinata immediately perks up and his eyes stare wide up at Lev "Hey, how tall are you? I'm Shoyo Hinata, a first year!"

Lev moves his hand down to his hip "It was 194 centimetres last time I checked. I'm Haiba Lev, a first year."

"194 centimetres?! So cool!"

"You're even smaller up close, Hinata."

You cover your mouth to quiet a snicker, that was kinda harsh Lev.

After Hinata freaking out about it Lev apologizes.

Lev then raises his hand to just about his forehead "But you have no problem jumping this high, do you? I saw that earlier in the match." Hinata pouts up at Lev hearing his condescending laugh "But I can jump even higher than that."

Being Baited Hinata, with no warning, jumps up. Unfortunately for him he standing right in the washroom door way. Hinata falls back to the ground holding his head.

"Then," Your attention shifts from starring at the washroom door to the, now hunch over and holding his head, Hinata. "I'll jump to the very top first."

You push Lev forward and step to the side of him towards Hinata, ignoring their conversation you poke and prod through Hinata's, surprisingly, soft hair for any bumps bruises or spots that causes Hinata to hiss or jump in pain. Luckily for both Hinata and you there's nothing o worry about.

Your pulled out of your focused task, feeling Lev hover over the two of you "I'll be the first to stop that fast attack of yours tomorrow, Hinata. Bye Y/N senpai!" Lev then takes his leave.

You follow him with your eyes "Huh?" Just a bit confused.

"The one who's able to score the most points is the ace." You glance back down at Hinata, and do another once over of his head, "With their own hands... is that true?"

You scoff "Of course not, the ace is the one that the team counts on no matter what, the can break through any wall in their way and is defiant 'till the end. Asahi may be a little fragile outside of the court, but he's a good example of one. Tanaka too, as much of an idiot as he is. But you'll have to wait until your second year for that one." You let go of Hinata's head and the first year tilts his head backwards to look up at you.

"You already know who the ace for next year is?"

You shrug "I have a hunch. But I know for a fact that once Daichi leaves it'll be Ennoshita that'll be the captain."

Hinata fully turns around and stares at you, stars in his eyes and sparkles around his head, "Am I going to be the ace in my third year too?"

A small smile comes over your face "The way things are now? Totally, we just gotta work on you breaking through those walls instead of evading them."

Hinata smiles brightly before diving into you for a hug, you stumble but catch the first year.

"Thank you senpai!!"

"Hinata are you crying?"

"I'm going to be the ace!"

"It's not set in stone just yet! All I said was that you had a chance!"

"A chance is all I need," Hinata sniffles.

"H-hinata, are you crying?"

"I'm so happy!"
