"Yamaguchi?" You stare confused at the first year who's glaring at his reflection in the mirror. "...Yamaguchi?"

Yamaguchi blinks before tuning around to face you "Oh, Y/N senpai..."

"Are you okay?"

The first year nods before his face flushes "H-how much of that did you see?"

"Just the end bit, so don't worry if you did anything too embarrassing in the beginning or towards the middle."

"Alright, thank you senpai but I need to go find Tsukishima."

"Last time I saw him he was in the gym 1 with the other Karasuno guys."

"Thanks!" Before you can even blink Yamaguchi's running past you and out of the washroom.

After finishing up in the washroom you head to the 3rd gym where Kuroo, Bokuto, and Akaashi said they'd be practicing.

"...Volleyball is just a club," You stop dead in your tracks hearing Tsukishima "And maybe you'll get to write, "I worked really hard in my club in high school," on your resume,right?" Oh, Tsukki... you just don't know...

You walk closer to the gym and enter it quietly, Bokuto being the only one to not notice you due to his gaze being narrowed in on Tsukishima ""Just a club"? That almost sounds like someones name." The intensity of Bokuto's voice is like nothing of the care free captain you'd previously known.

"Oh, like Mary club?" Kuroo chimes in "No wait, I guess it was "just some club"."

"Aw man! So it doesn't sound like someone's name." Cheerful Bokuto is back.

"Man I was so close."

"Dammit!"

You, Akaashi, and Tsukishima stare at a bickering Kuroo and Bokuto with blank faces.

"Would it be better if i made a retort?" (Tsukki)

"Nah, there would be no end to it." (Akaashi)

"How did it get to this..?" (Y/N)

"Say, four eyes!" Bokuto turns to Tsukki excitedly

"It's Tsukishima."

"Say, Tsukishima, is volleyball fun?"

Tsukki looks at you and when you nod he turns back to Bokuto before shrugging his shoulders "No, not really..."

"Maybe that's because you suck at it?" Bokuto places his hands on his hips before stepping forward, a large smile growing on his face "I'm a third year, and I've been to Nationals. I'm better than you. Way better than you!" How is that encouraging?

"You don't have to tell me that."

"But... I only recently started thinking that volleyball was fun." Bokuto goes on to talk about his cross shots being blocked and how he had to practice the hell out of his straights (lmao bitch please) Until Bokuto was able to shoot through the same blockers that had shut him down with his cross shots.

Bokuto's aura suddenly changes to a menacing one, it screams that if you cross him on the court it will end in a bloody defeat. "It's all about whether or not you have a moment like that. What happens in the future, if you can win the next game... Stuff like that doesn't matter for now. Crushing the guy in front of you, and the exhilaration of playing at 120% of your skills, is everything." Both you and Tsukishima can do nothing but stare as Bokuto's aura goes back to normal. "Well, in the end, that's my story, and it might not fit any and everyone.

I don't really understand why you say it's "Just a club," but I don't think you're wrong. But once the moment arrives for you," Bokuto dramatically raises his hand and points at Tsukishima "That's the moment you'll be hooked on volleyball." After that Bokuto and Kuroo are next to Tsukishima and Bokuto claps snapping Tsukishima out of his surprised state "I answered your question," Bokuto places a hand on Tsukishima's back "So jump a few blocks for me."

Kuroo wraps a hand around the tall blond's shoulder "Now, now, hurry, hurry." Both boys shove Tsukishima forward for some practice and you hide your snickers with your sleeve.

"Oh, don't worry Y/N, you can join in as well." Akaashi grins before tugging you forward too.

Once again Karasuno looses every game. Although Tsukishima seemed to show growth and the point gap between Karasuno and other teams seemed to be shrinking too, so the day could've been worse. Although... Kageyama and Hinata did almost fight about Kageyama not giving Hinata the falling toss.

Once again you were in gym three with Akaashi, Bokuto, Tsukishima, and Kuroo

"Oh? Tsukki, Y/N, you bring a friend today?"

Both you and Tsukishima turn to Bokuto and the door in confusion to see a panicking Hinata.

"Oh, Hinata, I thought you and Kageyama were practicing together." You question walking towards the ginger.

"Kageyama is practicing by himself again. I tried to have Kenma serve me tosses, but he bailed after just five balls!"

Kuroo buts in with a small smile "It's already amazing that Kenma stuck around for personal practice!"

"So..."

Suddenly another hand slams on the door and a grinning Lev appears "Please let me practice with you!" Both Lev and Hinata yell out. They turn to each other confused before greeting one another.

"Lev, I thought you were practicing receives with Yaku."

Lev bristles before turning to Kuroo way too quickly "Yeah! I did really well today, so he let me off early!"

"Really? Sure you didn't run away?"

"No, of course not!"

Kuroo gives his lazy cat like grin "Well, whatever." Kuroo turns to you "Y/N, you gonna play?"

You wave Kuroo away "I'm good."

"Alright then, since we have the right number of people, let's play a three on three."

"I'll take the score board, you guys divvy up the teams." You turn with a quiet yawn towards the score board and pick up the chalk to write 'Owls VS. Cats'.

"Um..." You turn back to see an unamused Akaashi with Bokuto and Hinata on one side of he net, Kuroo, Lev, and Tsukishima on the other. "Isn't this just a bit unbalanced?"

"It's fine! Let's do something we can't get away with in the afternoons."

You clap your hands gathering the two teams attention, "Let's just start the game."

After a total snuff out for Hinata from Tsukishima Yukie calls out. "Um... If you don't wrap it up soon, The cafeteria will close, and you won't get any dinner."

After that the boys are quick to clear out and Kuroo says something to Hinata about continuing and you reset the score board. Before walking to Hinata.

"Look at you. Little Hinata, playing with the big boys."

"Oh! Senpai! I saw you do that cool serve can you teach me, please??"

"Oh shit, Yamaguchi!" Your eyes widen realizing you hadn't worked with Yamaguchi with the jump floats "Uh, yeah Hinata i'll help you serve I just gotta finish up with Yamaguchi first!"

A/N: The way I actually hate this chapter.
Anyway, idk if i should make MC and Nishinoya [ERADICATED] after the Seijoh game or not. I probably will though, eh, who knows
Conditioning started for my soccer team and I literally hate it here. It hurts to move.
