Now that both teams were tied you knew Yamaguchi was aiming to take the game instead of trying to play catchup.

Tooru says a few words to try and gather his team again but the other third years quickly dismiss him, explaining that they knew that ball was a loss, they'd do better on the next one. A part of you was scared that they would.

Yamaguchi does another jump serve but this one had a loose spin causes you to hiss lightly, it would be easier for Seijoh to get a hold of. And they did.

Hajime does an overhand receive sending the ball to Tooru who set's the ball to Hanamaki but as usual Tsukishima is vigilant and he and Daichi both go for the block, however they only manage a one touch. Tanaka dives to cover the ball and Kageyama bumps it up with a call of Asahi's name. Asahi spikes the ball but it reflects off the block before falling out of bounds.

24 Karasuno

Karasuno is a set point and Yamaguchi was up to serve once more.

The ball was perfect. It had a good spin, shaky trajectory, it was perfect. But Watari was able to get it, Seijoh's libero does an overhand receive and Tooru sets the ball to Hajime who comes up for a back attack. The ball makes it past the block and Yamaguchi tries to receive the ball only to fall and the ball flies out. Aoba Johsai's point.

Yamaguchi and Hinata switch out and after that Hinata and Nishinoya switch out too.

Hanamaki does a serve with Daichi receiving it. Kageyama sets up Asahi who easily breaks through a two man block and earn Karasuno another point. However Matsukawa takes the next point.

Tsukishima is the next to get a point, Kindaichi snatching the next. And...

You watch as both team stiffen up as the setter walks to the serving line, Tooru's serve.

Tooru points at you, a smug grin on his face "This is for you, my precious Otouto!"

You cross your arms as you eye Tooru "Tch."

"Hey! Don't just 'tch' me! Say something else!"

You wave a dismissive hand at your brother "The whistle will blow any second."

And it did, it didn't seem to startle Tooru much but he did finally get on with his serve. As usual Tooru jumps into the air before slamming the ball down. And for once you don't focus on Nishinoya as he receives, instead focusing on how powerful the serve was. That was...

"That was basically a spike." You murmur, amazed as you look at your now celebrating brother.

26 Karasuno

If Tooru get's the serve again then Aoba Johsai takes the second set and whoever wins the third set takes the whole game.

Tooru goes for another serve but this time Daichi picks it up but it goes too close to the net, Kindaichi taps it down but Tanaka shoots out an arm to keep the ball up. Kageyama jumps up and sets the ball to Asahi but Hanamaki receives it. As the ball get's to Tooru three people take to the air, Kindaichi, Kyōtani, and Hajime. The ball goes behind Kindaichi and to Hajime for a back row attack, the ace get's the last spike. And Hajime makes the most of it, he spikes through Tsukishima and Kageyama and just to the right of Daichi.

26 Karasuno

Aoba Johsai takes the second set.

"Y'know Y/N~" You roll your eyes, just from the tone of Hanamaki's voice you know nothing smart is going to come from it "You seemed to be looking at Karasuno's little libero quite a bit this set~"

Matsukawa pinches your cheeks as he agrees with Hanamaki "Especially during that 'nice serve' cheer. I think our little Y/N has a Cru~Ush~!"

Your cheeks turn a light pink "Please shut up."

"Look, he's blushing!"

"He's getting so red!"

"Shut up!! I am not blushing and I am not getting red!"

Hanamaki and Matsukawa stop laughing for a while and blankly stare at you, they glance at each other then back at you before laughing even louder than before "His face got even redder!"

You throw the towels at the two before stomping off towards your brother. "That was a pretty nice serve."

Tooru turns to you, his eyes narrowing over your figure. Before he tilts his head "Tell me honestly," Tooru places a hand on his hips "You like that little libero?"

"Haaah?! Nishinoya? No!"

"I didn't say his name." You internally panic, he got you there. "So you like Karasuno's little libero do you?" Tooru scrutinized the team, eyeing a certain orange clad individual.

"Before you even say anything--"

"Huddle up!" Both you and Tooru Turn to Irihata who just called for the team.

"Damn it..."

Tooru places his water bottle in your hand "We'll talk about this after the game." After that he walks off towards Irihata.

You put up the water bottle as you tune out what Irihata is saying, only one thought floating around in your brain ...What would Tooru say?

I am back!! Sorry this is so short but it's felt like forever since I was able to publish anything. I got all my work done, one four page paper, 50 question test, one six page paper, 17 slide slide show, and eight total cited pages done! Now I just have my regular classes winter final's to do and I'll be done with test for a little while.
Lmao, also while i was procrastinating i read the titans bride and BJ Alex and THEY WERE SO FKING GOOD !!!!!!!
