Laughter filled the air, the sound echoing around the field. The white sundress you wore flowed around you as you ran through the vast amount of sunflowers. In one hand, you held a big sunflower, and the other was holding down your sunhat. You stopped at the top of the hill, turning to look down at the boy who was running after you. Your h/c hair blew in the wind, and your eyes were brightened with happiness. He paused when he saw you were waiting for him, excitement sparkling in your eyes for the adventure that was waiting for you on the other side of the hill.

"Come on, Jotaro!" You yelled, holding up the flower he gave you. He smiled and ran faster up the hill, coming to stand beside you. "Let's play a game!"

"What game?" He asked, fixing his hat.

"Romeo and Juliet! Ill be Juliet and you be Romeo!" You said. "It'll be fun!"

"Okay!" He said. You giggled and ran off down the hill, disappearing in the swarm of yellow flowers. He ran after you, laughing as he searched for you.

"Romeo!" You shouted, voice smooth and beautiful. He laughed and ran to you, tackling you into a hug. Both of you went tumbling down the hill further, stopping at the bottom. You were giggling uncontrollably, eyes watering from your laughter. Jotaro still had his arms wrapped around you, and very softly said to you..

"My sweet Juliet, I will always be here right beside you."

Your eyes fluttered open as you felt the movement around you slowly come to a stop. You sat up, pulling yourself away from Kakyoin as you rubbed your eyes. A deep sigh left through your nose and you wiped a hand across your tired face.

You hadn't had that dream in a while.

Looking around, you noticed you were the first one to wake up. You glanced out of the window to see people lining up around the train. Yep. You were definitely in India. You started waking everybody up, leaving Jotaro to be last. You leaned across the table, grabbing his shoulder and gently shaking him awake. Slowly, he opened his eyes, aqua pools staring back at you.

"We're here," You said, standing up and following the rest of the group out. "Get up." He grunted before standing up and walking after you.

"..Ill always be there for you..."

You shook your head. Don't think about him. He isn't your focus. What he said in the past doesn't matter right now.

As soon as your group stepped off the train, you were swarmed with the natives of the country. Some begged for money, some tried to get you to buy their products, and other tried to get you to go on their tours. You were pushed between Kakyoin and Polnareff, leaning away from the man who was trying to shove a beauty product in your face.

"Welcome to India!" Avdol laughed. You groaned as another product was shoved towards you.

"Lets get out of here!" You yelled over the commontion.

"Cmon!" Kakyoin said, putting his arm over your shoulder. Finally, the group wormed their way away from the stuffy crowd, and began their way to a restaurant.

Polnareff said something about going to find a bathroom, and told you to order for him. You relaxed in your seat, sighing in relief.

"Not one for crowds, Y/n?" Avdol asked.

"Hell no," You said, bringing the cup of chai to you lips. "I hate people."

To that, the group chuckled as you all settled down. It felt nice to be able to relax a little.

"Oh, Y/n I meant to ask, but were you having a nightmare when you were alseep? You kept mumbling something in your sleep." Kakyoin asked. You shook your head and set your cup down.

"No..just...don't worry about it." You sighed, shaking your head. "It was nothing."

"Hey, Buttercup," Jotaro said, making your eyes widen. Thats what he used to call you as kids. "What's your deal today?"

"N-nothing. Im fine." You said. Why was he suddenly calling you by your nickname? Just for old times sake? Whatever the reason, it made your heart clench at the memories.

Suddenly, a certain silverhaired Frenchman came sprinting around a corner, eyes narrowed as he searched around the restaurant. You nibbled on a sweet that Mr. Joestar had ordered, raising an eyebrow at his actions. However, you were just glad that the conversation could be changed. But after Polnareff couldn't find whatever he it was he was looking for, he went racing out of the restaurant. Confused, the rest of the group followed him. You sighed before also standing up, debating whether or not you should take your treat. You shrugged and grabbed it. There was no harm in it.

You followed the rest outside, nibbling on your food while you watched Polnareff look around wildly. He looked irritated, and you could see the anger flashing in his eyes. After a moment of convincing, the Frenchman calmed down enough to turn to the group.

"Mr. Joestar, this is where I leave your group." He said. Confusion led to silence, allowing him to continue. "My sister's killer has come to me, and I must hunt him down and kill.him for what he did!" He muttered a simple 'goodbye' over his shoulder and turned to leave.

"Don't be a fool Polnareff," Avdol said. The man paused, turning slightly to face the Egyptian man.

"What's that supposed to mean? Do you think I'll lose?" He questioned.

"Yes, I do!" Avdol huffed out. "Can't you tell he's trying to get you alone? Leaving the group is a mistake." Polnareff didn't like the answer he was given, and got up in Avdol's face threateningly.

"I don't care about Dio. I told you that back in Hong Kong, I was only going to travel with you because I wanted to find the man who killed my sister, and now that I have, I don't have a reason to travel with you anymore."

Avdol grit his teeth together before responding. "How selfish! Did you forget that Dio brainwashed you?"

"Says the man who ran off like a coward when he saw Dio face-to-face!" He shot back.

Ouch. That was low.

The air became tense as their argument went on. Polnareff decided that he had won the argument, and with a deep huff, he turned away an stormed off, leaving Avdol stunned in his place.

So much for relaxing.

A moment of silence passed, no one knowing what to say. "I'm going after him," Avdol said, breaking the silence. Mr. Joestar went to grab him, but it was too late as he already slipped away into the crowd.

"What now?" Kakyoin asked. "We can't just let them run off on their own like that."

"They're both playing right into the enemy's hands," You said, tossing the wrapper from your treat in a nearby trash can. "With both of them rushing headfirst, something bad is going to happen."

"You're right," Mr. Joestar sighed. "But we all just can't go in different directions. We don't know the enemy's plan, but here's what we'll do."

You and Kakyoin would go search for them, while Jotaro and Mr. Joestar searched for a hotel to stay in for that night.

You just hoped both of them would be alright by the time you got there.
