"This...is...it?" You looked over at the blonde male who had been seated beside you. "This..is..all?"
"Unfortunately, yes." Caesar sighed, raking a hand through his hair. "That's how you died."
"There has to be something else," You laughed, getting to your feet. "What about that saying where you watch your life flash before your eyes?"
"What do you think you're doing right now?" Caesar asked softly. He walked towards you and placed his hands on your shoulders. "I take back what I said before. You aren't dead. You are on the verge of dying. You aren't exactly dead, but you aren't exactly alive either. Your body isn't responsive, but your mind and soul are attached to Earth because you don't want to make a decision."
"And this is were I decide?" You asked quietly. He nodded, and rubbed your shoulder comfortingly. "H-how..." You swallowed. "How do I know what to c-choose?"
"Choose what you want. Its your decision to what you do. Your fate is resting in whatever you decide you want. Whatever you choose to live, or die with, is going to effect whatever you do. So please, chose carefully." He said. You looked down at your feet and slowly nodded.
"I'll leave you alone for a while so you can think." He said.
"No need to." You said, looking back up at him. The determination sparking in your e/c eyes. "I've already made my decision."
"What? Y/n, cara, you need to seriously think this over." He said.
"I have," You smiled. "I've been thinking since I watched back through them. I've been contemplating this whole time. And I've made my decision. I made my decision when I started making promises." You said, putting your hands behind your back. "I'm really sorry that I didn't choose to stay with you, I really am."
Caesar laughed and pulled you into a hug, making you wrap your arms around his slim waist. He placed a hand on your hair and put his chin on the top of your head.
"I'm glad you made the right decision. You chose to go with the people who need you most. I'm proud of you." You smiled against him, enjoying the moment. You didn't know how long you had actually known Caesar, but by God if you weren't going to miss him like hell. He was the first face you saw when you opened your eyes to a blank room, he was the one to explain things, he was the one to stay with you and guide you. You couldn't have asked for anyone better than him.
"I wish you could come back with me. I'm sure Mr. Joestar would be ecstatic. But I know that can't happen." You sighed. "Will I remember you?"
"I'm not sure. Either way, I'll still be watching over you. It's been an absolute honor to be with you, hero." The blonde mumbled against your head.
"If I'm a hero, then you're a legend." You said in response, making him chuckle and pull away. He ruffled your hair, making you giggle and move his hand away.
"Are you ready?" He asked. You hesitated. Were you? You honestly didn't want to leave him here alone. But you knew that you had people waiting on you. Jotaro. Kakyoin. Mr. Joestar. Polnareff. Holly.
"Yeah..." You looked up at him, eyes swirling with emotions. "I'm ready." Caesar gently smile and grabbed your hand and began to lead you to a door you never knew was there. It must have just opened or something. The door left into a hall, that was darkened so you couldn't see inside of it. You looked back at Caesar.
"This is where we'll be parting ways." He said, leaning against the doorframe with arms across his chest. "You'll find things as you go on, and eventually, you'll reach the end and be able to go on." He said. You spun around, and it was like he read your mind as he opened his arms for you to fall into his chest.
