"You want us to what now?" Polnareff asked again, making you roll your eyes beside him.

"I said we should do some training of some sort." Mr. Joestar sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "After the mess with Y/n, we should practice with our stands to get to know what they can do. Not to mention we can figure out our limits."

You looked down at the ground. Ever since you had your....incident...last night, everyone was on edge. Kakyoin however, hadn't left your side since last night. It was comforting to have him there with you, but you were still guilty. For what? You didn't know. Maybe it was because you had scared and shocked the others. Whatever the reason was, you could hardly look anyone in the eyes. Kakyoin had tried to reassure you, telling you that it was fine and no one was mad at you. But the secretive way they talked around you said otherwise. They had been trying to get everyone to do something all day. It was like they didn't want to be around you anymore.

"We'll split up so if we do happen to get attacked again, we wont be cluttered together. Jotaro and I will go, and you three will go. Sound good?" Mr. Joestar said.

"Yeah." Kakyoin nodded. His hand grabbed mine gently, making me jump at first. He had snapped me from spacing out and thinking. "Let's go,"

"R-right. Sorry."

..

For the next two hours, the three of you took turn sparring. It was exhausting, having your stands out this whole time and battling each other. Not to mention the heat. It was blistering. So after the last battle between you and Kakyoin, you told them you were going to buy water from a stand around the corner. Kakyoin and Polnareff had insisted that one of them go with you.

"Its just around the corner. If I get into trouble I call," You said, waving a dismissing hand over your shoulder. "Ill be fine."

You shoved your hands into your pockets as you walked towards the stand. You weren't a bad person now..were you? People freak out and get angry sometimes right? You couldn't have been the first one who had that kind of outbreak right?

You grabbed the three bottles from the man before bidding him farewell. What if they wanted to leave you behind now? It would explain why they were acting distant. Especially Jotaro and Mr. Joestar. A pang of hurt settled in your chest. You vaguely remember shoving him away from you last night. Even through your outbreak, you couldn't even rely on your best friend.

"Here's your water," You said quietly handing them to the boys. Before they could say anything, you had already started walking away. You had a feeling that you needed to make ammends, maybe apologize for your outburst, but something else told you to leave it where it was. You sat against an old building, one that had been abandoned long ago. This place had been left behind awhile ago, and the old man you had bought water from said he only ever got business from travelers. You let your arms rest on your knees, and you leaned your head back.

"Still wearing that bracelet? I thought you would lost it or broken it by now." You opened your eyes to see Polnareff standing above you with a soft smile. You looked down at your wrist to the see the gems glisten in the sun. You raised your arm and began to mess around with it.

"We aren't mad at you, you know." Polnareff said, sitting beside you. "And we aren't going to look at you any differently." You looked at him with a small sad smile. "Oh come on, mademoiselle," He whined. "Don't look so sad! Look," He shifted around until your shoulders were touching.

"I can promise you that we are still here, and we don't plan on going anywhere, Y/n. We've all had our outbreaks. Take me for me example. I killed Centerfold because of revenge. I was so pissed at him for what he did to my sister and her friend." Polnareff said. "I killed him out of rage. So don't think that you were the only one. Don't cast yourself away because of something that happened. No matter what happens, all of us will stay friends. Okay?"

You smiled and rubbed the tears that were forming in the corner of your eyes. "Okay," You said.

"Say, Y/n, this is a little random, but have you ever had meringue?" He asked. You shook your head. "You haven't?! You're missing out mademoiselle! Tell you what. Once this is over, I'll make you some." He grinned.

"Better keep that promise," You muttered with a smirk. "I hate people who break them."

"I won't." He stood up and then extended his hand out. In the corner of your eye, you saw Kakyoin with a wide grin on his face.

That little sly bastard.

He set Polnareff up to make you feel better.

You'd have to thank him later.

"So what're we supposed to do now?" Polnareff asked, stretching his arms above his head. "I don't know about you two, but I'm starving!"

"We have been working for a long time," Kakyoin said, glancing at his watch. You never knew he wore one. "But it's getting a little late now. We probably should go somewhere and get something to eat."

"Great." You sighed. "I hate this heat." Kakyoin chuckled.

"Should we try to find Mr. Joestar and Jotaro?" Kakyoin asked.

"Nah. Just leave 'em be." Polnareff said as we began walking away. "Those two assholes probably already went and ate somewhere. How much do you want to be those two sat around and didn't do anything while we worked our asses off?"

"This was Mr. Joestar's idea in the first place." You said, slipping your arm through Kakyoin when he offered it. "Why would he ditch out on his own idea? Besides, he was worried that Jotaro and I wouldn't be strong enough to fight Dio. I don't think he would do that."

"You never know," Polnareff shrugged. "Oooh. Let's go here. It smells good."

You rolled your eyes as you and Kakyoin followed him inside.
