Hali had spent over a week in Bree waiting for Gandalf return and the arrival of the dwarves to the small hobbit home on top of the hill in Bag End, their host a respectable hobbit by the name of Bilbo Baggins.

"I'm sorry to interrupt but what should I do with my plate" one of the younger dwarves Bilbo could not remember his name but the young prince walks up to him taking the plate, " here Ori give it to me" before throwing it to his brother who throws it into the kitchen.
"That's my mother finest cookery can you not do that it's over a hundred years old" Bilbo whimpers watching the dishes fly around his house and into the kitchen.

"Can you not do that? You blunt them!" Bilbo hisses at the dwarves before they break out into merry song

Ooooh! You hear that?
He said we'll blunt the knives!
Blunt the knives, bend the forks
Smash the bottles and burn the corks
Chip the glasses and crack the plates
That's what Bilbo Baggins hates!
Cut the cloth, tread on the fat
Leave the bones on the bedroom mat
Pour the milk on the pantry floor
Splash the wine on every door!
Dump the crocks in a boiling bowls
Pound them up with a thumping pole
When you're finished if they are whole
Send them down the hall to roll
That's what Bilbo Baggins hates!

Hali POV,

It was dark by the time I reached the top of the hill where the little green door of Bilbo Baggins home, I could hear the rowdy laughing and yelling and singing of the dwarves down the road. "Oakenshield, are you lost?" I asked the leader as I catch him trying to figure out which way he should turn next. "I've lost my way twice already" he says gruffly, " should have just followed the noise" she giggles at his grumpy face as she leads him up the hill where Gandalf's blue mark glows on the pine green door.

Thorin bangs heavily on the door, it is open by none other than Gandalf the Grey, " I thought you said this place would be easy to find lost my way twice and would not have found it if not for Miss Hali and the mark upon the door" Thorin says as he moves into the home, myself not far behind the other dwarves look astonished that their leader trusted a woman to be apart of this company all except his young nephews. "Hello Fili, Kili and Balin it's good to see you again" I whisper to them as Thorin critiques the small hobbit in front of us.

"Come both of you must be hungry, there is still some soup left" Gandalf ushers us both in to the small dining room. We all take our seats huddling in around our quests leader. "What do the envoys say are they with us" Dwalin muses to Throin "No they say this ours and ours alone they will not come" he reports, Hali watches the matter of dwarves come to light as the leader retells the happenings of Eren Luin, she smokes her pipe in the back corner. "Bilbo my dear fellow perhaps a little more light to shed on the subject" Gandalf says to the hobbit who brings over another candle as Gandalf pulls out a map of the lonely mountain, "these ruins here speak of a hidden entrance at the top of the mountain in which we may enter to reclaim the mountain" he says clearly "how come you by this" Thorin questions "it was given to him for safe keeping by your father last, along with the key to which the door will open if only we can find out what else this map hides from us, I say we seek out the elves of Rivendell Lord Elrond could read them if we are there at the right time" Hali presses as all manner of grumbling and cursing of elves ensues at the table.

While the arguments fly Bilbo can be seen pacing the floor just outside the knocked dinning room reading the contract, if he were to sign grand him a small portion of the gold which lay cursed inside the mountain but before any more talk of not trusting elves can being the dwarves turn at the sudden thud that was a fainted Bilbo Baggins and Bifour with a guilty look upon his face.

Thorin tells the compatibility take rest the living room being their camp ground for the night.

The night winds down the dwarves settle in and Thorin beings to sing the song of that retched night so long ago.

Far over the misty mountain cold to dungeons deep and cavers old we must away ere break of day to find out long forgotten gold
The pines were roaring on the highs the wind was moaning in the night the fire was red it's flaming spread an the trees like torches blazed with light
