She goes out on the farthest boarder patrol when she hears the cries of wolves, going off the worn trodden path she comes up to a cave where two wolves sit crying out for their mother.

"I think I'll keep you two" she smiles picking them both up.
She brings back the two wolf pups to Riverdale.

"Cruse that boy" Elrohir mutters darkly to himself. "Have you lost Estel again Elrohir?" She snickers as she called out to the elf. "How do you lose a 19 year old boy?" She asks walking closer, " He was with me just a few moments ago I swear" he stresses.

She shakes her head before heading off into the gardens for far hidden behind bushes and trees a single grave with a porcelain statue of a women stands surrounded by bushes of white flowers Hali never learned the name of, she finds a young man with hair black as raven wing sitting in front of his mothers grave talking to her. Some that travelled to Riverdale and saw the two of them standing side by side thought them either to be siblings or Hali to be his mother. "Aragorn" she calls out softly to him, his head turns "HALI" he smiles before launching himself into her arms. "Hello wild one" she smiles down at the young man she had taken a protective insight too.
"I had to tell mother that this would be the last time I came to visit for a while, I'm to join the Ranger of the North, The Dúnedain" he says looking up. "We'll come along wild one you have much to get ready for and I have something to show you" she stands up dusting of her pants as the excited young man takes off to the house.

She also set out to travel the worlds of those in middle earth, most men took to calling her the Blue Ranger or in Rohirric Ostana meaning she-wolf and what  she didn't know that this would be the long time before she saw Aragorn again even throughout her travels she was about to embark on her a quest into the wilds of middle earth on the whims of an old grey wizard leading 13 dwarves and a shy young hobbit for a mountain with a dragon that had not been seen for sixty years.

Aragorn was Isildur's heir to the throne of Gondor and the chief to the Dunedain and even though he was young leading the Rangers of the North would help him build confidence in his position to one day be king Hali knew he would make a fine king if only he could see passed the weakness of his forefather and the temptations of darkness.
